Yes, but you don’t have to pick those. If you make a bracket today, you just have to pick if the play-in would beat the other seed. They just stay grouped together until there are winners.

Don't know where that stat came from... Mississippi State/Kentucky/Auburn/Florida/South Carolina all lost round 1, Texas A&M round 2. Tennessee and Alabama are all who is left for them.

The announcers from the UConn game said it. Perhaps I misheard it...or maybe it was a specific stat regarding Sweet 16 games over the past ____ years. Who knows...but thanks for the clarification. I was too lazy to check what was easily checkable.
