CAA Championship Game: Towson

Post by 77HEN »

Well, looks like a rainy day in Towson. How fitting! Need to string that defense together to hold the Towson attack down. Also need to move the ball and avoid the double/triple teams that caused so many turnovers in the first game in Newark. Good luck Hens, we’ll be there to support you. And, hopefully, to watch you win another CAA championship and bid to the NCAAs.

We'll have live broadcast today on WVUD 91.3 FM, streaming live audio as well here: http://128.175.76.123:8000/stream/1/

We also called the semi on Thu night on our Sports Stream 3 online-only platform; here's how OT sounded :!: : https://x.com/wvudsports/status/1786499913527820323

Looking forward to heading back down today. DEL needs to beat some of the odds this afternoon - more of an underdog vibe today.

Ugh! Some kind of dreary day. Towson took the Hens to school, but good. It will be interesting to see if TU can do anything in the NCAAs, probably won’t have to go through a a play in game. Better luck next year for the Hens, gotta find replacements for big contributors and put some pieces together to improve. I’ll be watching.

Towson draws Syracuse who is #4 seed in the tournament. Champion Princeton is the ONLY Ivy team playing. Maryland, Penn State, Hopkins and Michigan all from the Big. Albany vs Sacred Heart for the PIG and the chance to match up against ND - good luck with that.
