DiPaolo’s…another great evening.

Turns out it was the buffet night. $55 all you can eat buffet. Prime rib, Chernobyl-sized Snow Crab clusters (seriously, they were huge), jumbo sized shrimp cocktail, slightly smaller (but still good sized) steamed shrimp and spicy shrimp, and a whole lot of delicious, but filling (so avoid a lot of that stuff) pasta, meatballs, salad, etc.

Little Cluck can’t have buffet food, so he opted for the 16oz ribeye. Whoo-boy…delicious. Never disappointed in that place. Haven’t had the veal yet…maybe some day.

FM Band…fun music selection. Anytime a band can open with Van Morrison’s, “Into the Mystic,” and absolutely nail it, they have my attention. Decent Motown songs. The lead singer, a lady, did Steven Perry very, very well. Solid version of Toto’s Africa and Rosanna. Ditto the younger lady who (looked good) did a good version of Steven Tyler and Axl Rose. Another singer, a dude, did a great job on Prince as well. Fun time.

Anyway, ran into a New Jersey high school coach who had good things to say about UD football. One of his school’s former players is on our squad.

Dang, I love this area. 2-3 degrees from anyone if you are willing to engage folks in conversation.
