KCK has been back to Newark for a UD function. The ice has cooled.
I could be wrong about this, but I don't think the current UD administration - or trustees for that matter - feel compelled to embrace their predecessors' bad decisions. They really seem to get it, and I'd be surprised and disappointed if they didn't take the high road when KC's Kats come to Newark. It should be a lovefest right up until the point of kickoff, and then...

Love him or hate him, the man wins wherever he goes, cant dispute that and yes, the success with the Hens should be acknowledged.

“…..anything other than Sam Houston running out onto Tubby Raymond field to start CUSA play would be a missed opportunity for CUSA scheduling.”

I could envision a video montage on the big screen of KC's accomplishments as a player and a coach at UD ending with "thanks for the memories, GAME ON!" pay homage to the past and set the rivalry for the future...
Given how they swept Tubby's death under the rug I wouldn't put too many expectations on the gameday planning folks. Remember (as of last year) we still have 20-year-old WWE theme songs, pump-up music after opponent scores, etc.

Yes, and that needs to change. On to bigger and better things. High hopes that reclassification includes a complete AD rebranding from top to bottom, including a fresh look at how we do gamedays at the stadiums. ball parks, and arenas.

I must have missed the ‘03 video that includes any pictures of Keeler.
I was at all the ‘03 home games, regular season & playoff, and the NC game. This picture is meaningful to me. If my memory serves me correct, this was facing the UD fans.
