Off Topic, but Relevant

Post by Info Hound »

Not directly sports related:

Today's Wall Street Journal, based upon the parameters of their survey, has UD ranked #10 in the top ten ranking of Public schools. Included in the top 10 are: UCal Berkeley, GA Tech, VA Tech, U. Mich.

Overall, nationally, out of 500 schools, we are #26. Princeton is #1. The parameters are: Student Outcomes, Student Surveys and Diversity. More information on methodology are available with the full ranking at www.wsj.com/collegerankings

Something to be proud of, and should be an important aspect in recruiting in all areas.

I checked the Forbes ranking for public schools and UD is only- #51. Regardless of the criteria for the placement of all institutions of higher learning, there is quite a discrepancy between F and WSJ.

Well, Forbes must have missed the all-important categories of Student Outcomes and…*checks notes*…ummm…Student Surveys and Diversity.

Good grief.
