I am not personally worried about the transfer portal right now. The first couple of days are going to be dominated by the big schools and the big dollar players, a market that we are not going to be in. We picked up two transfers today and these are the type of players that I think make the most sense for us out of the gate.

1) In-state players that went elsewhere and, for whatever reason, are looking for a new home (James Steel, Caravel, UAB)
2) Players we recruited out of high school but went elsewhere and are now, for whatever reason, looking for a new home (George Mullins, Michigan St)

That is not to say that these are the only type of players we should target, but as a newer FBS program, these type of transfer will be the ones where we might have a slight edge in that there is already a built in relation and knowledge.
