After Strider, the Braves starters are nicked up with both Fried and Morton coming off the 15 day DL with finger issues, with Fried’s being a blister. Hope it acts up again and not afraid of Morton at all. One of my all time favorite sports memories is being at CBP for the clincher last year and the “Charlie, Charlie” chant and watching the very seasoned veteran wilt under the pressure. He will get a chance to pitch at CBP again.

Another great experience last night. Went to a few post season games last year and I think the Stott HR may have been the loudest I’ve heard CBP.

Phils didn’t play around this series. Took care of business both nights. Bring on Atlanta.

Saturday start at 6:07 so right as the Hens game is over, perfect timing.

Stott is pretty A-O-A-OK
UD to FBS. I never thought I’d see the day

Schedule is favorable too: Sat, M, W, Th, Sat. Wheeler would get 2 starts if it goes 5.

Congrats - it should be great. Maybe my best live sporting event was being in the Vet for Game 6 of the NLCS in '93 when the Phils won the pennant. Playoff baseball in Philly is special!

I was at the last game at Connie Mack.

My most vivid memory was of a guy walking down the street with a souvenir toilet with the seat around his neck.

The other memory was of my father driving on the sidewalk to avoid the crowd that had stopped traffic and was trying to flip over a car in front of us.

Ahhhh…Philly.

Had to really be careful where you parked by Connie Mack. I remember the CF wall being 447 feet away from homeplate

That was a intense game last night.

Rob Thompson gambled with his pitchers and ended up liking like a genius. Gutsy pitching. On the other hand, the Braves manager switched his lineup around and ended up putting a goose egg on the board.

Phillies defense was a weakness…but not last night. What a play by Turner. Probably saved the game with that double play.

And…the catcher’s interference? Clearly, from the player’s reactions, it happened. But, my eyes couldn’t see it on the replays. Not sure how the ump saw anything.

In any case…fun to watch this team.

An Eagles win today would complete a great sports weekend.

Big, big win last night. When it works, it works like last night or not like in the WS last year taking Wheeler out early in Game 5.

Get a second win Monday with Wheeler and end it in Philly. Long way to go but a great first step.

Well…nailed the trifecta this weekend: Blue Hens, Phillies and Eagles all win games.

Bonus: Cowboys got crushed.
