4 turnovers by Nova. Announcers say Pastula is second in FCS in punting average.

Carty should stand up at the next CAA presser and say, in his best General Zod voice, “Is there no one in this conference to even challenge me?”
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Carty - get an FBS bowl win!

New Hampshire, William & Mary and Villanova all go down on the same day.

The door has been opened wide gentlemen. Play them one at a time and a conference championship and playoff seed are there for the taking.

We need to be prepared for every game. We just can’t show up to beat the teams everyone has already marked as a victory.

Good grief.

I went out to dinner and come back to Humpty Dumpties tied at 42. Forget the time left on the clock…this production has had the wrong time, wrong quarter, wrong down and wrong yards to go from the get-go. Went for 1:05 left in the game to 8:42 left in the game. 2nd Q was the 1st Q. Just horrible production ALL GAME.

HA!

Yeah…defense.

Just saw a play with a stationary camera. Camera didn’t move as the play progressed. Never saw where the pass went. Makes Flo look like a professional production.

Whaaaa? Clock is running…TV shows 8 minutes and something left…even though the clock is stopped at 11 seconds left. The camera suddenly show a slanted field. Camera man must be smoking something. Hike the ball…the camera suddenly slides up into and above the stands. TV suddenly switches to another camera showing the end of the play.

Holy crap…what a clown show.

NC Central misses, by a mile, a short FG to win the game.

OT folks.

Seriously, the announcers are bad, the teams are bad, the whole production is comically bad.

Family won’t watch OT…switching to a zombie move.

EDIT: Lil’ Cluck selecting Meg 2, The Trench.

Wheeeeeeeeee!

Listened to the end of the game online. Campbell scores in OT but PAT is blocked. NC Central scores TD on first play, converts PAT, wins 49-48

Doesn't seem like it matters the number of wins Nova has when they play UD, they almost always beat us. Why would this year be any different?

Just a bad game.

When I said zero defense…I meant ZERO defense. Undisciplined play across the board.

The Humps flat out stink. Whoever said the league had better not sleep on them may need to visit the optician.

Surprises so far in the CAA:

1. Richmond was picked to finish 3rd in the preseason prediction poll. Although they still have time to turn it around, they are 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the CAA. They have lost to Morgan State and Hampton and barely squeaked by a bad Stony Brook team. Their offense has looked anemic. They still have to play Rhode Island (away), Elon (home), and William and Mary (away).

2. Albany was picked to finish 11th in the preseason prediction poll. Although it’s still early and they’ve only played one CAA game (a win against Villanova), they are 3-2 overall with two relatively close losses to FBS Marshall and Hawaii. They’ve also beat Fordham. Looking at their remaining CAA schedule, they may do fairly well.

3. Hampton was picked to finish 15th (last) in the preseason prediction poll. Although it’s still early and they’ve only played one CAA game (a win against Richmond), they are 3-1 overall and have beaten Grambling and Howard.

4. New Hampshire was picked to finish 2nd in the preseason prediction poll. Although they still have time to turn it around, they are 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the CAA. They’ve lost to Delaware and Towson in the CAA. Their offense is very good but their defense is a real liability.
