Carty told me yesterday that he didn’t sleep for days before he submitted his CAA pre-season picks. Couldn’t decide between using a Ouiji board or a dart board.

Damned near broke him.
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Carty - get an FBS bowl win!

We face a number of teams coming up who emphasize the run:

Hampton (2nd ranked rushing offense in the CAA)
Villanova (3rd ranked)
Towson (4th ranked)
Elon (5th ranked)
NC A&T (6th ranked)

Let’s hope the coaches are making the necessary adjustments. I don’t believe the 3-2-6 is the best defensive alignment against the run.

Another Great observation Jax

Elijah Burris RB Hampton is pretty good and probably under the radar, I hope that dreary atmosphere in Hampton doesn’t put us to sleep …. Gotta come out clicking

I agree CH. Hopefully, we can avoid the slow starts we’ve had against the teams coming up. We will likely be favored in at least 5 of the 7 remaining games, maybe all 7. Jumping out to big early leads tends to demoralize severe underdogs but slow starts keep them emotionally motivated with hopes of pulling off the upset. With the new rules, run oriented teams don’t want to get behind by too much because they’ll have less time and less plays to catch up.

Let Manny be Manny. His game plan against Laube worked pretty well. 8 carries - 8 yards by the then, leading CAA RB.

With what we graduated, Manny has done pretty good job getting this defense up and ready to make the 2nd half stands they did vs UNH.

Jared has Albany's passing game clicking.
When you have a good QB that can make plays both with his arm and feet the coaches suddenly get smarter right

Reece Poffenbarger is good and elevates his team

Albany looking solid and their Defense is good too

Noticed a Freshman RB in the Nova game that looks like a versatile type with some talent

Virginia is awful this year. Is W@M favored? What's the spread?
