Hey all we can do is play and beat who's on the schedule each week. Is it dreck most weeks, yes. But the conference makes our conference schedule each year, not our AD. So as an athletic department we only chose 3 or 4 of our opponents each football season. Could our part be better, oh hell yeah. Why don't we just enjoy the teams success this year, after all we are "Relevant" again after the 10 year abyss Delaware football and we hen fans endured. We have every chance to get to 10-1 this season, get a seed and possibly two home games before we run into one of the 3-4 power teams in the semis. Let's concentrate on that instead of dogging the team every chance we get. How about it folks?
NO NO NO, instead let's be:

How about we save the champagne for after we swat Nova and the hall of fame plaques for another day?
Carty doesn't need any protection on here , his 2023 record speaks for him.
Don’t see anyone protecting Carty in this thread, or being over the top positive, not that that’s illegal. Just that there’s no need for the players to take anything with a grain of salt.
As you said, Carty’s record speaks for itself. Besides last years 5-0 start, it’s our best start since 2013 in a Fall season, an entire decade. Now it’s about finishing, a core value for this team, something the 2013 did not do and the 22 team did not do during the regular season.
You work hard for 354 days a year for 11 games a year. Enjoy the hell out of each victory till midnight, no matter who you play.

ALL DAY RAIN FORECASTED for Next Saturday & Homecoming
Please keep the rain down there. My daughter is getting married on Saturday.
Sally in RI
On a Game Day in October…and Homecoming no less? Sally, what are we doing? . Congrats and I hope the weather is perfect for her big day.
As long as we never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever…ever, ever, ever run that play with two OL split out when we are that close to the end zone I think we will be ok.
This group of WR’s are off the charts. So much fun to watch. Only a Dave Brock playbook could slow these guys down. #GoHens

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from back when I raced harness horses. There was a horse named Playboy Hanover who had gone undefeated racing mostly at Ohio County fairs. The "knowledgable" horsemen questioned his ability saying he hadn't beat any horse of note. Joe O'Brien made the comment, "Well, he beat everybody who showed up." He went on to beat all the "best" horses in the country.
Brandywine, Dover, Harrington?
All the above & Liberty Bell, Rosecroft, Freestate, Meadowlands

How dare you think and speak Positive!! All good points.
Well …. It looks the the weather forecast isn’t getting any better. We were due for a bad streak of weather after last year, with two shorts games in November and the beautiful weather for the opener. But this is getting ridiculous. Looks like an end-to end rain from start of tailgating to the end of the game and only in the upper 50s )-:

Spent a lot of time at Brandywine.
Were you one of the jockeys that was pulling back on the reigns on those photo finish shots?
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Well, I was a driver, but most of my horses needed a push at the finish.
Damn…”driver.” Crud…been away too long from the harness circuit.
My uncle co-owned a couple Standardbreds. Bet on one once…for family pride. Yeah…that was a quick lesson. Let’s just say he picked stocks better than horses.

Eddie Davis was a driver.
Two horses I'll never forget, made a few on them
