Would be 6-19 with a rough-and-tumble victory over the Aggies this Saturday.
Hey Delaware, take your wins with a grain of salt. And your "best ever WRs", and your top notch FCS skill position players.

Yeah I don't get it. If it's that bad don't Watch, don't Go. Why the slap at the WRs?

Hey all we can do is play and beat who's on the schedule each week. Is it dreck most weeks, yes. But the conference makes our conference schedule each year, not our AD. So as an athletic department we only chose 3 or 4 of our opponents each football season. Could our part be better, oh hell yeah. Why don't we just enjoy the teams success this year, after all we are "Relevant" again after the 10 year abyss Delaware football and we hen fans endured. We have every chance to get to 10-1 this season, get a seed and possibly two home games before we run into one of the 3-4 power teams in the semis. Let's concentrate on that instead of dogging the team every chance we get. How about it folks?

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from back when I raced harness horses. There was a horse named Playboy Hanover who had gone undefeated racing mostly at Ohio County fairs. The "knowledgable" horsemen questioned his ability saying he hadn't beat any horse of note. Joe O'Brien made the comment, "Well, he beat everybody who showed up." He went on to beat all the "best" horses in the country.Brookside kid hen wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 7:58 pm Hey all we can do is play and beat who's on the schedule each week.

May not like the way it was said but Roger’s point is valid. We really don’t have a clear idea how good this team is. Many agree, the discussion of poll placement is evidence.
Re: North Carolina A&T (1-4)
But why take a slap at the WRs? The kids are playing very well and playing the schedule they have. No reason for that

Re: North Carolina A&T (1-4)
I was one who commented on both Roger’s post while also saying we were a bit overrated in the poll department. No need to take a slap at the WR’s or any position group for playing well against who they’ve played so far.
Truth is we may not know what type of team we have until we’re hopefully 7-1 going into Elon. I don’t think we’re a top 10 team right now, probably just outside it, but the guys are playing well and three of the four wins haven’t been particularly close. Encouraging sign to me. Hens are doing what they should be doing playing against who they’ve played so far, putrid or not.

Slow down Podactor… We still have at least 6 games to play and hopefully a few more
This is all that was said… and I still stand firmly behind that statement. Let’s see how it shakes out
“On paper I think you can make a strong case for this being the best overall group of WR talent ever assembled in Newark.”
recruiting recruiting recruiting...It ain't rocket science....We need better more athletic players...That simple....

How about we save the champagne for after we swat Nova and the hall of fame plaques for another day?
