Anyone hear any news about Zack’s health?
Carty isn’t going to say anything. I will say, and obviously this is just going off body language, he seemed fine on the sidelines. No sling or if it was lower body, no limp. Was very involved and joking around at times. Can’t tell you what color Gatorade he was drinking though.

Only 4,200 show up at Towson for a huge game for them (some of whom were ours) and he criticizes our fan base?

Jaxhen1 wrote: Sat Oct 28, 2023 5:01 pm It’s hard to know where to begin. This is the most complete game I’ve seen Delaware play in a long time against a team that had been very competitive coming in. I was worried about this game and thought Towson had a chance to upset us. I thought we could score on them but I was concerned about their offense. The defense played an outstanding game. They pressured the QB and kept him from taking off. On offense, Marker was exceptional, passing, running, decision making, just outstanding. It’s nice to have such depth at the QB position. Our future really looks bright at QB. Our young QBs look very talented. Our OL continues to improve each week. They protected well against one of the top teams in sacks. I thought the play calling was great in this game. Kudos to the coaching staff for getting the players ready for this game, for developing a smart game plan, and for calling an excellent game. The players were confident and executed the game plan extremely well. Yarns, what more can you say about him, 5 TDs and was great running and receiving out of the backfield. He may be one of the most complete backs we’ve had, runs with speed, power, vision, and quick cutting ability. He has sure hands catching the ball and rarely fumbles. We took a giant leap forward in this game and our depth was evident in that we didn’t miss a beat even with several key players being banged up. Hope Marker’s injury is minor.
Jax...I completely agree about Yarns. I thought Wes Hills was one of the most electric backs we've ever had and he reminds of him. He catches, gets yards after contact, and runs like a deer. An amazing game.
Yup, I said some time ago this year, before the season started, that Marcus has some Wes Hills in him. Yarns has improved tremendously in vision, balance and speed. He was kind of awkward last year but always finishing forward. Now he finishes in the end zone a lot, and it can be a thing of beauty.

Correct! With the way this team has been molded together, I don't give a rat's azz if we don't get practice reports, injury updates, or accurate depth charts. Just show up at the game, and you'll find out who's playing and what they have been practicing!

Winning is hard - enjoy the wins.

Thought the white jersey-yellow pant combo looked sharp/nostalgic.

Still have to watch the recording (first half anyway).

Keep building, stay healthy, get better.

He performed well! Of course, the offensive line gave him an eternality to throw the ball. At times it seemed that he had up to 10 seconds to throw the ball. We certainly can not expect that much time to throw the ball against better competition.

So then Michigan has fake Princeton helmets.

Yes, I think it’s been a few years since we saw that traditional combo.

Folks talking about eligibility in another thread made me think to look at who played the TU game. Some different folks got time on the OL play. Most backups listed in the participation notes are upper classmen but Anthone Caccese got some time. No Anwar O’Neil though.

I thought Lipovski might get the 4th quarter or part of it at QB. Is the fact that Minicucci played the entire half an indication that he needed as many reps as possible and could be called upon for this next game?

Or...with a 38-0 lead at halftime, it was not necessary for Marker to re-enter and risk any further injury or aggravation. It was a good day to get a 3rd string QB game reps.

I would imagine that they wanted to keep Lipvoski at two games on the season towards the four that you get towards maintaining a redshirt. Towson was Minicucci’s second appearance this year.

Lipovsky and Minicucci have each appeared in two games so they each get two more and can still redshirt. With both O'Connor and Marker having suffered injuries, it's probably good to have saved one of Lipovsky's games.
