Mini-Player Stats/Milestones after Towson

YARNS: Four rushing TDs is tied for second most in one game. It's the 17th time a UD player has rushed for four or more TDs in one game. ... For season, Yarns has 700 rushing yards and 13 rushing TDs. The 13 TDs are tied for 10th most all-time in one season with two of Brown's seasons (1993, 1994). ... Yarns' 6.8 yards per carry average are the fourth most all-time for a UD back with a minimum of 100 carries. ... Yarns is 47th all-time in rushing (1,261 yards) passing Oliveri, James, Mason and Walker on Saturday. ... The 75-yard TD reception was the 25th 75-yard or greater catch in team history. Yarns joins Cuff as the only Hens to score 5 or more TDs in one game (Cuff 7 vs. W&M, 2007; 5 vs. Lehigh, 2005).

TOWNSEND: His 116 career catches ranks 17th all-time and his 1,415 receiving yards ranks 19th all-time. ... Townsend has played in 52 career games, tied for 7th most all-time with Lavelle and Marcorelle. Pitts is all-time leader in games played with 59.

MARKER: He is the 21st Hens QB with a 300-yard passing game. Only 10 of those QBs have multiple 300-yard games, including O'Connor, who has three this season.

McGOWAN: Tied for ninth all-time with 18.5 career sacks (tied with Parks) and tied for 11th all-time with 33.5 career tackles for loss (tied with Worrilow).

TEAM: One more victory this season would clinch Hens' first back-to-back 8-or-more-win years since 03-04 (2003: 15; 2004: 9)

Combine Yarns' rushing and receiving stats and you will find that Marcus is averaging 9.1 yards per touch!
...And 15% of those touch-es result in touch-DOWNS.


Also, Jourdan Townsend leads all Hen receivers with 16.56 yds/rec.
