Hens an 11-point favorite in Dover vs. blood rival Hornets.

I think that is low. Might put some $$ down. DSU sometimes keeps it close because of they would have the advantage in athleticism. That is not going to be the case this year. Hens by 15 or more.
It is a Blue Hen world, and we are just living in it!!!

DSU has some size with 3 guys in the 6'10-6'11 range who all play.

Reading game notes, alot of connections in the game.

Looks like the game is being steamed live on Youtube. Was thinking of making the trip but staying home for this one.

Davis and DSU Perkins started playing together since they were 8 all the way up through Sanford.

DSU coach Waterman played for UD back in mid 80's and coached Davis at Sanford.

Ray and DSU's Stone were teammates at La Salle

DSU asst coach Owens was at La Salle when Ray was there.

I think this should be a 15+ win for Delaware but imagine this is a big game for DSU every year with things to prove...so you need to factor that in

Some analytic sites I use have a projected score of Delaware 73.6 DSU 64.4 (9.2 margin)

Sometimes these lines are too good. I am staying away from this one. The under is appealing though.

Delaware ML -590
Delaware -9.5 -106
Delaware St. +9.5 -114
Over 142.5 -114
Under 142.5 -106

No video from DSU 🙄

Sounds like Reilly is out with an ankle injury .

Up 30-14

I think/hope it's because he picked up his 4th foul with 10 minutes to go

Things will be a lot easier if we stop going on these scoring droughts. 6:20 tonight after a long one against Air Force as well. But 4-0 is what matters. Get some guys healthy before 3 games in 3 days in the Bahamas. Nice win.

They have over a week to rest, hopefully get healthy, and prepare for the Bahamas. Would love to see them get off to a good start against Brown in that first game.

Good teams win great teams cover! LOL

Delaware is currently 3-0 against the spread (Goldy Beacom had no line)

A couple of observations: The most encouraging thing at this point is that this group plays decent defense and that will go a long ways toward having a good year. Obviously, there are multiple options for scoring points, but every team has some bad shooting games. The defense can compensate for that.

Beyond that, Houser has to stay out of foul trouble and the backcourt guys have to cut down on the turnovers. Losing Moss for the season will hurt the front court.

Hoping that Houser's younger brother decides to spend two years in Newark and bank some playing time before moving on to wherever he wants.
