So you’re saying we have a chance…
What I’m saying is chances are if UD has a CUSA offensive or defensive POY they wouldn’t be able to compete with P2 NIL offers.
This is correct, though it would be even worse for us if we stayed here. No player with a chance of starting at the FBS level is going to play in the FCS. I frankly don't know how we kept Yarns this year.

Clearly not gifts 😎

Any word on Yarns status?

God works in mysterious ways.
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Carty - get an FBS bowl win!

That’s always going to be the question going forward.

googled CUSA- selected wikipedia-a good long- a loaded baked potato! If only we had made the FBS move years ago, we might have migrated to any number of superior conferences as evidenced by their former well known members.

It is what it is. Hopefully the present CUSA schools will recruit up/coach up to create more appealing football/basketball opponents for our fans.
Our future has yet to unfold so patience is required- especially next season

Anyone here have any info or strong rumor on who CUSA adds NEXT?

I remember reading one UD poster say he was hearing Missouri St.---but can't remember who.

DECISION will be made known in the next 2-3 months.

Top candidates>> UMASS or Missouri St. for the #12 spot.

others--- Tarleton St., SFA, EKU

On the csnbbs/ CUSA/CUSA Realignment Board we have a TROLL named R40--someone to ignore.

I have no inside information, but, after consulting with William of Ockham, my intuition tells me the most likely candidates are those positioned to make a move the quickest: UMass or Missouri State. The other candidates mentioned seem to be lacking some key element or another, at least for the immediate future. None are flush with the type of institutional resources or have the capacity of, say, UD.

If it extends beyond this spring, we'd have to assume UMass is not in the picture. A move to CUSA would be the least impactful, financially.

The MAC releases their new scheduling format (dropping East-West divisions) for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 seasons. I’d surmise that signals they will remain at 11 teams for now.

On the same page as the MAC article:

"With Lehigh, Air Force, and Navy now solidly on the schedule, Army is left with one non-conference opening in 2024. That opening should be filled soon and Army’s complete schedule for next season will likely be released in February."

How about us?
