Jyare Davis is a rare big man who actually makes his free throws
Fine, Davis is 6-foot-7, so he's no giant. But he is a center for Delaware and he has made 88% of his free throw attempts this season. That's tenth in America among all players with at least 75 attempts entering the week. Big men often struggle at the free throw line, but Davis is clearly proving the trend wrong.

tough kid and a great FT%. good move by MI to bring him back to his hometown. If Davis had a true center to work with, I'd bet his overall production(pts and rbs) would be even higher. We need to sign a big kid to keep here for his career and not lose him to the portal.UD '01 grad wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 9:55 pm Jyare Davis is a rare big man who actually makes his free throws

As to possessing a UD "center"- we really don't have one now in the normal sense of that position's criteria. Ray may be the closest on our team as his rebounding numbers are always outstanding- quite impressive for a 6'6" guy. MI deserves kudos for stealing him from another conference foe.
hoping for a W tonight
