Updated with newest reported targets. From what we know, it seems that a PG and a shooting wing are first priorities set. No word on any post players being contacted yet... but not every recruit is publicly sharing their recruiting status to these outlets.

One way is by having recruiting contacts outside of the NY to VA region.

You aren't the only one thinking this way.
Grand Canyon has an extremely large online enrollment. They are one of the largest Christian schools. I’m sure they have some donations flowing through there like Liberty.
A HS teammate of mine went there and played back in the 70s. None of us had ever heard of it. Now look at them

Charleston in search now for a new head coach, though I’m sure it’ll be a very attractive position. Pat Kelsey taking the Louisville job.

Drumgoole has entered. Will be his 4th school in 6 years. I’m sure that’s what the portal was meant for…

I will get bashed for this, but…

The portal was meant for one thing: to make it easier for players to transfer and get their best deal.

Period.

The NCAA and the universities were going to get sued for a bazillion dollars. You can’t collude to prevent people from changing jobs and making the most money off their talents…and the schools and the NCAA had done just that (for decades). Now, the kids get to shop their wares around. Some will win, some won’t. The market will decide.

But…but…but, THE PROS!

Two main differences. Anti-trust exemptions and actual player contracts.

Winners and losers (both players and programs). Fun times.

Who is gonna bash you for providing facts? We might not like it, but we will have to figure out how to play by the new rules pretty quick.

We have a roster addition! Izaiah Pasha, a 6’4” guard from Harrisburg, PA. Originally was a 2023 guard committed to Rick Pitino at Iona, but requested his released and reclassified to 2024 after Pitino left for St. John’s. Other offers included Xavier, Towson, Hofstra, and a boatload of A10 schools: Temple, La Salle, St. Joe’s, Rhode Island, George Washington, VCU, St. Bonaventure.

An exciting piece that was heavily recruited out of HS. With the mid-majors being plucked each season, there will now be more HS guys out there to go after.

Pasha has a reported 6-9 wingspan. It also looks like we offered before he signed with Iona.

Looks like a nice pickup for MI and staff. Now let’s go get some size and physicality in the post. And some more 3 point shooters!!! No time to lick your wounds over Davis and Drumgoole. Time to get to work!!!
