Yes, that too. The picture was often jittering like the BH flag in your avatar.

Grain Exchange…the women’s lacrosse team showed up for the game. :D The women’s softball game was on before the men’s lacrosse game…tough 2-1 home loss. Several softball players and parents made it to Grain afterwards. Unfortunately, none of UD men’s teams showed up.

Missed the first 5 minutes of the game as Grain had trouble finding it (odd…they advertised a watch party and didn’t know where the game was on the TV). Got the snafu fixed, but Towson’s feed was erratic. :x

The game was exciting…but holy cow, when the ball hits the ground we have had a very tough time coming up with the damned thing…even when we get there first. The stats say one thing, but the eyes tell another story. Strange…it has been that way for the past several games.

Happy we won. Fairfield put in some really nifty goals off great passes. Unfortunately, our Hens took a lot of low angle shots…again.

On to Towson.

Oh, the food. Do not order the brisket sandwich. Just don’t. Brisket was cooked like dry scrapple. Seriously. It wasn’t close to being brisket…it was dry and chewy. Lil’ Cluck said it was closer to beef jerky, with less flavor and moisture. Can’t redeem something that bad. Loaded tater tots had promise, but came out cold. Ugh. How is that possible? Decent crowd, but it wasn’t over crowded pre-game. Smash burger was solid…the only thing that I would order again. Mac n Cheese was very pedestrian with little to no flavor. Damned shame, because the place is gorgeous with a nice patio. If they get the food right, they could have something special as the STAR campus continues to grow and flesh out (new apartments, graduate level, breaking ground soon)…but the food…nope.

In the end, the Hens pulled it off and made it worthwhile.
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Carty - get an FBS bowl win!

Head down to Towson Cluck. Should be able to find some good crabs and crab cakes. The team’s quality of play seemed to drop after the season ending injury to Joe Speers in the Stony game in Newark.

It is not only Speers. I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but the Hens played without their other top LSM Patrick Gillin yesterday. They are holding it together on Defense with Duct Tape. Trouble for Saturday's game. Fairfield would not have scored 5 goals against the Hens top defense. They were completely discombobulated yesterday. UGH!

The poor production was not the fault of FloSports or the CAA, but Towson who has among the poorest or the worst videocast quality in the CAA. The quaility is dependent upon each CAA member.
