Played running back, quarterback, and defensive back at Poly Prep Country Day School for head coach Dino Mangiero...high school teammate of fellow UD signee Eddie Lugo...projected as a defensive back at Delaware...led team to record of 11-6 over the last two seasons...earned first team All-New York City honors at both running back and cornerback as a junior in 2005 and earned second team All-Brooklyn honors as a quarterback and cornerback in 2006...earned team’s Jack James Memorial Trophy as team Most Valuable Player each of the past two seasons...rushed for 972 yards and passed for 650 yards as a quarterback in 2006 when he also had two interceptions on defense...rushed for 1,172 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior in 2005 when he also had six interceptions...also competes in track and field and was team MVP and an all-league selection as a junior...son of Tyrone and Tawana Grant.
