Opened the 2007 with a 30 carry, 244 yd, 6 TD rushing performance (also 4 catches for 52 yards and another TD receiving) against William & Mary to break his own UD record for TDs and points in a single game. 7 TDs ties an NCAA FCS (Div I-AA) record. Followed that up with 4 rushing TDs vs. West Chester, his 6th career game with 4 TDs or more. Omar has led Delaware in rushing in each of his previous 3 years and also led in receiving yardage in 2005. He can become the only Blue Hen to ever lead the team in rushing for all of his 4 years.

Missed 4 games due to ankle injury. Rushed for 541 yds and 8 TDs. Scored a personal and conference season high 4 rushing TDs vs. New Hampshire on Sept 30. 2x Blue Hen TD Club Offensive Player of the Week (Albany, W&M). All-Atlantic 10 3rd team selection.

Sensational sophomore campaign. Set UD records for TDs and points in a single game with 5 (3 rushing/2 rec) 30 points against Lehigh in the season opener. Tied a UD record with a 4 rushing TD performance against JMU. Walter Payton award candidate. All conference 1st team. Sports Network All-American (3rd team)

Grayshirt Freshman (enrolled UD Jan 2004) Converted from DB to RB mid-season. Saw first action against W&M and Navy. Tied a UD single-game record with a 4 rushing TD performance against Villanova.
High School: C.H. Flowers 5-11, 175 lbs.
Attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School for two years before transferring to Charles Herbert Flowers High School for his final two seasons...played for head coach Rick Houchens at Roosevelt and for Mike Mayo at Flowers...played running back and free safety, returned kicks and punts, and also punted for team...team was ranked No. 2 in Prince Georges County and No. 13 in the state of Maryland in 2002...earned All-Metro and All-County honors as a senior...enjoyed a standout career in which he surpassed 2,000 yards rushing, 1,000 yards receiving, and 4,000 all-purpose yards....averaged over 30 yards per kickoff returns for his career....named team Most Valuable Player twice in football and twice in track and field at Flowers...won indoor 300 meter and 4 x 400 meter relay regional championships as a senior...honor roll student.
