Re: The state of college basketball
Maybe this is the seed that will get women's basketball going. The rot does not seem as bad there yet.

JMU athletics
Transition, we should find out how they did it. If there was ever a college program that transitioned to a higher profile, it is JMU.

Re: News Journal Article Today 03/20/24
Not trying to be a wise guy, but if there were a way to subscribe to KT’s stuff, but not to the Gannett junk, then I might consider doing that. On the other hand, didn’t Gannett just drop the AP? Maybe they will go back to hiring more local writers for each market (one can always hope). Do you know...

Re: CAA Tournament, Quarterfinal: Hofstra
Brey left mid summer of that year. Not a good time to research and vet a comparable replacement. In a panic we went back to Duke and grabbed the first assistant available. When Matt Dougherty left ND for his dream job little did we know the ramifications it would have on the direction of our program.

Re: CAA Tournament, Quarterfinal: Hofstra
I’m just pointing out the facts that 8 years in to his tenure, and we essentially have a .500 coach (losing coach in conference). Maybe the powers that be may be satisfied with that. The two preceding coaches were underwater. This program lost its shine 24 years ago when Brey left under the worst of...

Re: Delle Donne
EDD put Delaware on the national stage. No other athlete has done that here IMO. Delaware was ranked in the Top 10 or 20 when she was here and it ain't happened since.
