Re: 73-73 ...

I think MI will be here for as long as he wants. He runs a clean program and I doubt if some big will poach him. Be .500 with a once every few years 20 win plus season and he is a lifer. Look at Sherm and Shillinglaw as examples. The only hot button sport here is football.

Re: Texas & Oklahoma to SEC

Dave Nelson was crushed when the newly formed Patriot League blackballed us. That mindset is still here today.

As much as I want to believe it, that isn't going to happen.

Re: Sixers

For as much as they spend on talent you would think they would have another ship in the last 40 years.

EDD?

I'm wondering if this is the end of an illustrious career. She has not played since 2019 and is recovering from two back surgeries. No timetable set for her return.

Re: Nolan Henderson

I really liked Hurley except for one flaw. He always seem to hold on to the ball too long. I can recall many times times when he would run around, constantly giving ground to find an open receiver. More often than not he was hit with a 15-20 yard loss.

Well, let's beat them first, something we haven't done since Ole Dave was here.

Re: Off-topic but local: Stan Waterman to DSU

Based on championships, Sanford does a much better job than Stanford in Mens Basketball 🤣 I should say so despite a male enrollment not high enough to field a football team and 25 k annual tuition. Impressive. Sanford gave up football around 1976...somewhere around there. Dropped the boarding schoo...

JMU does it again by knocking off #5 Okla State. You kinda of knew they were something special after that 17-0 blasting of UD.

Re: Off-topic but local: Stan Waterman to DSU

Uhh...that would be Sanford. Just a tiny bit of difference. :D He will go from coaching private school players to coaching college players at a small, local university that struggles to graduate their students (definitely not on Stanford's level  ). It will be a challenge, and I wish Mr. Water...

Re: Off-topic but local: Stan Waterman to DSU

I think Waterman is an assistant principal at Stanford . Maybe he should not resign that post. DSU basketball and football is a graveyard for coaches. Uhh...that would be Sanford.
