Going to be rather cool as well with Real Feel Temperatures in the low 50's during game time.

Re: In Memoriam: David Roselle

Only big mistake he ever made was not influencing the BOT to choose a decent successor. 93BlueHen, Are you talking about Men's Basketball, what coaches, and what year? I think he’s referring to Harker. Maybe, but I am not clear on Harker's role in "not influencing the BOT to choose a decent su...

Re: Field Hockey, Lacrosse and Men's Soccer Conference?

In terms of trying to determine the new conference for the other sports, this makes the waters even muddier. Why? Well, do you think the men’s soccer program, going to the Summit by itself, clarifies where the other programs are going?? No, but I didn't expect that UD would be able to get more than...

Re: Intterview With President Assanis

How many students from outside UD's region are going to want to come to UD and pay out-of-state tuition with limited financial aid? You are going to have to explain why a student from Texas or Tennessee would have more limited financial aid, than the students from New Jersey currently do. i think t...

Re: Potential Transfer Target

Lance Ware 6-9 235 spent 3 years at Kentucky and last year at Villanova. Only averaged 9.6 mpg over 4 years but has played in a lot of games. Probably wishful thinking on my part but he would no doubt play more than 10 mpg at UD. Does UD have the NIL money that would be necessary for this kind of m...

Velasquez pitched 1-1/3 innings, gave up 4 hits, and was charged with 1 ER on wild pitch by reliever Stretchay who pitched great, not allowing a run in 6-2/3 innings and 102 pitches.

Re: Intterview With President Assanis

The thing is that you do not have to play college athletics in the far rung reaches of the US to be a university with national pull and enrollment from the entires US as well as the world (which UD used to have and maybe still does - see all of the states & countries that recent UD enrollees com...

Re: Fairfield 4/6

Hens take the lead after trailing most of the first half. Then score another goal for a 7-5 lead at half. They outscore FF 7-1 in the 2nd half and win going away at 14-6. Great game by the defense and GK Ellington with 15 saves and 70%+ save percentage. The FF GK had 15 saves too, to keep his team ...

Bill- I agree. Those items can certainly be a factor in school selection. A factor, sure. One of many. Being the main factor, which Bill seems to allude to, not a chance. Udforever1, I never posted (or implied which is your unsupported view) that it was the "main factor" only that it was ...

Re: Field Hockey, Lacrosse and Men's Soccer Conference?

Soccer headed to the Summit League. I’m somewhat surprised they couldn’t find something closer. Other teams include Denver, UMKC, St Thomas Minnesota, Oral Roberts, and Omaha. Talk about travel. https://twitter.com/DanSteenkamer/status/1775946792514842877 Chrissi gets the L on this decision. Ridicu...

Re: Field Hockey, Lacrosse and Men's Soccer Conference?

All this movement towards long distance conference foes plus the P5 practically making national conferences. I wonder what The Gerard J. Mangone Climate Change Science and Policy Hub at UD has to say about that. The universities push the climate change issue just about more than anyone. Watch what ...
