Re: Game Thread: Delaware State

Are these MEAC officials? These guys are terrible. If we lose a player, it will be woke chrissy’s fault for scheduling this.

Since Albany is just a CAA football member, they can easily be given the boot. I expect them to be gone. They just didn’t want to pay for the COVID testing.

Laying off 120 employees with a projected “loss of 250M”, is no where near enough! 🙄
Laid off the maintenance staff because most of the buildings are shuttered. There must be huge savings in utility expenses. Since the electricity is provided by a municipal utility, we will find out how much.

SID Scott Day was let go due to a budget cut. Really tough to hear. Great guy and great at his job.
Half the athletics communication dept. was cut. Next to go are the swimming teams & assistant coaches.

Re: UD Budget

The mens Olympic teams everybody wants to cut have no or very few scholarships & share coaches with the womens teams. Very limited savings. The mens soccer team & volleyball team will have to be cut. Most of the mens soccer team are internationals. There will be no protest.

Re: Live Construction Footage

UD projects a $168M budget deficit and has instituted new cost saving measures and a draw down on their endowment. Pausing all new construction/investment and just finishing up those projects that are at the finish line now. I'm sure similar things are happening everywhere, but holy toledo that $16...

Almost 500 positives at Baylor & 400 at TCU. No chance of them shutting down during football. TCU SMU football game on 9/11 postponed. COVID positives in TCU team & support staff. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/tcu-vs-smu-football-game-postponed-after-horned-frogs-discover-multiple...
