Phil Steele’s College Football Magazine - CUSA Blog
I just ordered my copy of Phil Steele’s College Football Magazine from his web site. While there, I clicked on the Daily Blog tag and read his piece on “2025 CUSA Hits and Misses”. As had already been mentioned in other CUSA threads on our board, UD has the most difficult schedule in the conference....

Re: Tubby's Nightmare Comes True
It sucks, but it is what it is. I'll take C-USA over the Patriot League any day of the week. It'll go back to a new normal when the P4 breaks off and does their own thing. It just makes sense for the rest of the sundry items to realign and create more regional leagues. Or at least that's what I hop...

Re: CUSA Football general news, info, Etc....
The early internet age distorted consumer expectations of what they should be getting for free. Absolutely correct, sir. Too many want something for nothing and are too willing to blame the media when their expectations fall short. A little self-reflection might be in order. Anyway... The FCS is re...

The 3-3-5 Defense
There have been so many discussions on the Board over the last several years about the 3-3-5 defense, I thought I’d do a little investigating in order to learn more about it. There is a lot of detail in these articles, including strengths and weaknesses, with some having additional links to more inf...

I’d be happy with 4 wins, thrilled with 5 or 6.

LILax, thanks much. Your information, observations, and insights are always greatly appreciated.
Re: EA Sports
At the risk of setting HZ off I really do think this will do a lot for the university and a the program. My kids look at the Hens differently because they are “In the Game.” https://x.com/delaware_fb/status/1928134652272759230?s=46&t=4p0tRPfmr8Vg_pquooqVoA That damn cartoon chicken! Grrr.
Re: Yarns
Good questions, Bill. Why don’t you do some on-line research and let us know what you find out?BlueHenBill wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 6:24 pm So waht are the situations at New Orleans for RBs, Green Bay for DBs, Patriots for WRs, and Chiefs for OL?
Re: Yarns
I’m guessing he’ll end up as a free agent unless someone takes a 7th round flier on him. The free agent route may be the best chance for him to make a roster or practice squad. He’ll be able to pick the best situation for himself if he’s a free agent. Good luck to Marcus!!! I think the Saints may b...
Re: Yarns
On day of draft, Yarns has dropped in these rankings. He was in the 180s overall earlier in the week. Now has end of 7th round grade with the following analysis added: Yarns accelerates through the line of scrimmage when he runs inside and can get to the corner when he runs outside. He ran well at ...
Re: Yarns
From 49ers site article above: NFL.com projects Yarns to be a priority free agent. Analyst Lance Zierlein offered this assessment in his draft profile: "Two-year starter from the FCS who needs a very specific role to have a long-term chance. Yarns was a productive three-down player at Delaware...
