Re: 715 April 8th, 1974
Thanks CH for your memories. I was always a big fan of Hank Aaron. My grandparents and uncle used to live in Milwaukee. My uncle took me to a Braves game in Milwaukee when we visited one summer (1959 or 1960). I’ll never forget seeing Aaron, Eddie Mathews, and Wes Covington hit consecutive home runs...

Re: 2024 Baseball
Yikes, 56 runs given up to Rutgers in the three game series. That must be some sort of record.

Re: Women's Lacrosse
Congratulations to Madison Hranicka. She was named CAA Defensive Player of the Week. She had a huge week for the Hens, totaling 16 caused turnovers and 13 ground balls. https://bluehens.com/news/2024/3/11/womens-lacrosse-hranicka-tabbed-caa-defensive-player-of-the-week “In the 13-3 defeat of Lafayet...

Delaware takes 2 of 3 against Jacksonville University, winning today 2 - 1 in a pitching duel. Atiya pitched really well and saved it for Marose, who also pitched well. Atiya pitched the final 3.1 innings, striking out 6, and giving up 0 hits. Good weekend for the Hens.
Re: Penn 2/24
The faceoff domination by Penn surprised me, they hadn’t been that good on faceoffs in their prior games.

Re: women now
Turnovers are a major issue for this team. We had 21 turnovers compared to 10 for Drexel. We out rebounded them, had a better field goal percentage, and had a better 3–point percentage. We desperately need someone who can handle the basketball especially when pressed.

Ray is a remarkable rebounder for his size.
Re: women now
Lady Hens pull out a gutsy win (71-67). After being behind almost the entire game and down double digits, they battled back to take the lead with less than four minutes remaining in the game and held on for the victory. This team is frustrating to watch at times but they never give up which is an ad...

Re: Lafayette Opener
Really impressive first half, Delaware leads 8-0. Hens winning face offs 8-2 and shots on goal 18-6. Six goalie saves.
Re: women now
Although, I’m certainly disappointed in the year we are having, I think it’s premature to remove Jenkins. Considering she lost the top five scorers on the team, top three rebounders, and top point guard for her first year, plus lost the entire recruiting class after Adair left, she had a respectable...
