Re: Hampton
I see the resident cherry picker and spin master has arrived Nobody suggested Camden sit in favor of Kogbara nor playing him would erase a 20 rebound deficit. So I need to spell it out..... I did suggest finding time for a guy like Kogbara which could be a combo of Camden, Lane, Reilly time) who may...
Re: Hampton
I disagree with not being able to coach/scheme out of the rebounding issue. Rebounding/defense is about desire...some players have it and some dont and need coaching. This team is built to outscore you but at the expense of other areas....that cant be any more clear. If the staff can tweak some thin...
Re: Hampton
The defense is pretty bad today. Hampton missing a few starters and bench guys are having career days.
in CAA news, Charleston takes a double digit loss at Monmouth and UNCW drops one at Hofstra.

Re: the one man cockpit
I fondly recall the old days....going back to when we were in the America East. There was an America East message board that kicked off around 1997/1998 when the internet just started. Some really good posters. UD had a guy known as Helmet Head, who wore a UD construction hat during the Brey years a...
Re: Monmouth
I agree 1 game does not suggest we now have an inside presence. What I hope to see is MI continue to utilize these 2 guys and not abandon it. I feel they both have very short leashes and we are seeing some PT due to Reilly and Allen out. What happens when those 2 return? MI historically shrinks his...

Re: Northeastern
Better fg%. better 3fg% and ft%, less to's and lost the game. Giving up 22 Oboards and being outrebounded 49-28 will do that.

Re: Northeastern
Dave, it has to be coaching for us to not go after the boards. There is no way our players refuse to go after any shot we take. Either not being coached or just not doing it. Not sure if its s a fear of being beat down the floor but other than Timko, I dont see a real desire to rebound as evident b...

Re: Northeastern
Frankel of NU came in the game avg 1.9 pts/game. He is 3/6 from 3 with 11 pts.
The lack of rebounding is really bad. Every NU shot that goes up, there is a hand involved by NU on the offensive glass. UD shot goes up and the other 4 guys are pulling back.

Re: Northeastern
Is there anything sentimental regarding this arena that I'm not remembering as for there being the 🥲 emoji https://x.com/DelawareMBB/status/1874871913379680609 I think Nate Darling had a.good game a few years ago there but that's really all that comes to mind? Are there other arenas we should be mo...

Re: Northeastern
Northeastern is very similar to UD with 4 guards and 1 big but still a solid rebounding team.
Probably will see the rotation tighten up tonight as we start conf play.
Goal I guess at this point is to be a top 4 seed or the very least, not to be a bottom 4 play in game seed

Potential JUCO ruling
Seeing that there may a change coming regarding JUCO eligibility where playing at a JUCO will not count towards your 4 years of eligibility. Kid goes JUCO, plays 2 years then 4 at a D1 school. IMO, this will push more hs kids into juco as the P4 schools will either take a JUCO kid or a MM player vs ...

Re: Misericordia(sp?)
Speaking of exhibition games and Mike Brey. I remember seeing the Hens play the Nantucket Nectar Naturals. Thinking back how random it was. Can't seem to find much data on that team, tried Google to no avail. It's almost like I dreamt it..... Nantucket Nectars was a traveling team made up of former...

Re: Misericordia(sp?)
Every CAA school other than Northeastern and Monmouth has either 1, 2 or 3 non D1 games scheduled so its not a UD thing. If you look at schedules around the turn of the century, most teams played 27-29 games total (not counting conf tournament) which sometimes would include a non D1 game like Widene...
