womens T&F

just a quick shoutout to our women's track and field coach K. Iyevbele for her excellent scheduling of meets this year. The Raleigh Relays this past week is a highly respected venue which provides access for our ladies to big time competition and benefits recruiting immensely. thanks

Re: Chris Mack

Not my cup of tea. I'll allow you 2 fellas the honor to set it up the NIL fund. Then I'll kick in. come on-take the challenge. seriously- cut the rhetoric and act! as to my interest in seeing changes in the bball coaches- well, the facts speak volumes- I didn't list the facts for SJ though our Masse...

Re: Chris Mack

Wish we had signed the guy. He consistently took his teams to the Big Dance. Unfortunately we appear to still be maintaining the status quo. A Kelsey type guy would see the possibilities to succeed with our forthcoming upgrading to CUSA/FBS. He might even be able to lure Davis back to his home town....

Re: Dane Fisher out as W&M Men’s Hoop Coach

Brey was a nice guy with integrity and he did finish 1st. UD might consider choosing a nice guy with integrity but who finishes 1st more often. Ya think? The recent .500 or better yearly winning records at UD are only accomplished through the level of competition in scheduling. Not just in CAA, but ...

ESPN has a coaching changes for 2024-25. It's essentially a portal page for coaches(in and out). Man, it's obvious lots of schools want to upgrade and some very quickly. MUSICAL COACHES  no moves here at UD hoops it appears??

Re: Women's Ice Hockey

just thought to check out womens college hockey leagues- ECAC and Hockey East looked more interesting to me. Maybe more difficult, but in general bigger names which appealed to me- esp Ivies in ECAC. But I profess to know nada about college hockey. Do we have a "gohenser" expert? to fill u...

Re: Hens Offseason

You aren't the only one thinking this way. Grand Canyon has an extremely large online enrollment. They are one of the largest Christian schools. I’m sure they have some donations flowing through there like Liberty. A HS teammate of mine went there and played back in the 70s. None of us had ever hea...

Re: Hens Offseason

I keep going back to teams like Charleston, JMU, Grand Canyon, St Mary’s, and others. How are they doing it? Don’t reinvent the wheel. Let’s figure out how some mid-majors are thriving in this new world and follow their example. You aren't the only one thinking this way. There are many of us that t...

Re: JMU athletics

one potential avenue for generating alumni support for athletics is the hiring of well known and national recognized coaches. By no means does it translate into large donations. Of course winning big in the major sports against well known/highly ranked teams is the prime driver for successful colleg...

Re: JMU

watching bball the last 2 days has been- well- a ball  I anticipate the excitement of the big Dance every year. Yale's win and Oakland's were awesome. As I watched JMU, I could only imagine that UD was the there-not our former nemesis JMU :(

Thanks, LILax. 2.5+ inches of rain forecasted for tomorrow. Bring the boat shoes. Definitely worth the extra $10 for the Club House pass…will need to warm up and dry out at half. Hoping to make the game. Might wear my fishing waders. 😂 Opening trout season weekend coming soon. If you hurry home aft...
