Nolan is a warrior and a leader. Very glad that we have him. Let's get the OL solidified, and he will really tear it up.

More good times ahead.
I agree...and the question needs to be asked, how many good OL are in the transfer portal??
I love Henderson. He is the type of player where you're never truly out of a game. Smaller in stature but similar to Andy Hall in the warrior mentality and even more accurate. It's possible his elusiveness disguised the OL flaws with his scrambles until he was too banged up. If he has any time at all, he can really pick teams apart. Bad day on D, but I feel like they'll pick back up this fall and be dominant again.

They just need to find a way to keep him healthy for the whole fall season, and find a backup at the position that can run the whole offense effectively.
If they don't find an OL to protect him I worry about him ! This OL can"t run block or pass block the only thing they are good for is taking up space!!

Were lucky he didn’t transfer when Rocco was playing the practice QB

Damn, Carribe...but a legitimate thought.

He'll need to put o another 10lbs between now and Fall if he wants to keep taking hits.
Nice run, Hens! :D

On the plane back, every o-lineman should have apologized to Henderson for getting him blown up on every play.

Yeah, Henderson doesn't need to put on weight or get so much stronger or whatever to avoid injuries. Henderson needs an O line that can perform its function properly. Seems like forever since the Hens have had a good. O line.

Love the kid. He's a stud and leads by example. He's the epitome of what a Delaware Football player should be.

Just want to point out the amount of flack I got on and in messages after I said Nolan was the best QB we’ve had not named Flacco since I started watching mid-90’s with Hall being just behind. My only concern about Henderson is protecting him from himself. He’s at the the HALF way point in his career and I believe he will eventually become our all time leader in most career passing stats.

This year was no fluke...this year was not over achieving. We are a young team that lost its best offensive weapon a month before the season and looked leaps and bounds better than 2019. We need a RT and a capable backup. I love their wildcat package and I think everyone on here including the announcers wanted Paoletti to throw the ball at least once to keep the D honest. He’s Tayson Hill or if you’d like Tebow as a freshmen. We want to protect Henderson from big hits and he’s a monster. But we also need someone to back up Henderson if he gets hurt. One of my big issues with KC, particularly with the QB was the separation between the starters and the back ups. If key guys got injured the ship sunk. ‘08 is a prime example. Nasty D, good weapons. RS/Ritacco= first 4 win season in program history. We need a backup.

Sky is the limit for the fall. Let’s hope the squad sticks together coz with the right coaching and filling a few holes we’re beating Rutgers next year.

I have been touting Henderson since HS where I saw him play many times. He's not only a very good QB but an excellent athlete and obviously tough. Now that he's been in the strength program a few years and gained some experience he's become the QB that Joe C and I envisioned when we saw him back in HS. Let's enjoy him for as long as we can

I remember those HS reports John! If we want to see Nolan more, we've got to find a way to protect him better than we did yesterday.

Interesting fact that Henderson and Gwynn were the opposing QB’s in the 2015 Delaware State Championship game.

Gwynn can play. Coleman gave him a shout out this week at the presser. He earned his #2 spot on this team .

I agree, running for your life isn't the ideal. I'm hoping our OLine is the primary focus for this coming Fall

If we can find some warriors on the OL to match Nolan's grit, we could really have something special!
