Dan, you are way beyond your years! They will all be listening to you before long!

You think Weber State bounces back and beats UC Davis? I really like Gilliam and the UC Davis run game.
I have UCD over Weber. Weber's QB health uncertainty scares me off and Dan Hawkins (we love our Dans :D ) has the Aggies humming. They'll seize this chance at getting a leg up in the BSC (and in polls).

Hoping that watching QB-iffy Weber isn't a foreshadowing of the situation at Delaware. Need NH2 out there--yes, including in the game hosting UAlbany. I watched the Great Danes get rolled in the Dome vs SU and that means zilch. Competed for a good half at NDSU and lost a highly flukey game vs ascending Rhody.

Albany defense looks pretty sturdy vs FCS comp, even if you wanna knock Jeff Undercuffler regression, and they're developing a future All-CAA slot WR in Roy Alexander. Yes, Hens can't just roll outta bed with Gwynn and win (to say nothing negative of Gwynn, just an overall team assessment)
This is really good stuff Dan, keep it coming!

I like your assessment on the UC Davis game and they do seem to have the “it” factor, and besides Weber has had a really tough time getting over the hump

But this is a home game for Weber and losing 2 consecutive home games in the call of the wild setting they play in would be against the odds. Having said that, go get em UCD

One other interesting FCS game today is Sam Houston vs Central Arkansas

All I will say is lots of talent on display in this game and C Arky season is the line so beware to the BearKats who are on the road

All I am saying is at this point in the season, we do not have the resumé of a top 10 FCS team.
I think a fair ranking for us might be in the mid-teens.
We've gotten the benefit of the doubt with our high finish in the Spring and therefore inflated pre-season ranking.
Many would look at our 2-1 record and say, "Yep, that's right where we're supposed to be".
Some of us look at HOW we have played and see issues - issues that don't seem to be getting any better.
Spot on. Our pre-season ranking was based largely on the Spring Season results. Questions abound about that. Injuries from the Rutgers game will likely have a big impact on the rest of the season.

We were only down 14-7 at this point last week, 😂. I hope they lose 62-3 and suffer numerous injuries. And no, I don't feel bad about wishing injury on Nova.

Nova's DL is pretty darn good. Their DB's have been burnt by superior P5 speed a couple of times. 14 just chucks it and lets his burners run under it.

Nova looks to be the 2nd best team in the CAA after Madison.

I was just about to type the same thing. They're very big and athletic. Yikes.

I kind of encourage Nolan to go ahead and get that pelvic surgery now too.

Athletic is the key comment. UD has big guys, not sure how athletic. Athletic guys don’t go walking around leading with their guts and shirt hanging out all over.

Good summary.

PSU 17 rushing attempts, 18 yards rushing. nova's D has 7 tackles for loss, including 2 sacks. nova's D front 7 is good.

Two long PSU TD passes (67 and 52 yards...but with yards after catch) are the difference in the game. 137 YAC for PSU...they just have too much speed for nova's DBs.

Henderson or whomever is back there, will be running for their life.
