William & Mary has the opportunity to build confidence with Albany (home), Maine (away), and Towson (home), before a brutal stretch of the preseason favorites, Villanova (away), Delaware (away), and James Madison (home).
Pretty sure we might see W&M ranked this season. They just started picking up a handful of votes this week. As you articulated, the sked might lend itself to stacking conference wins before a gauntlet. The Tribe has two young QBs who have gotten good snaps (Hollis Mathis and Darius Wilson).

4 of the 5 no-loss (CAA record) teams go head-to-head.

The combined record of New Hampshire's remaining CAA games is 3-6 ... leave out Rhode Island, that record becomes 1-6
 New Hampshire / Rhody is gonna be critical at-large picture game

Richmond has a extra week to figure out what the hell happened yesterday at home against Elon, before hosting James Madison on October 16
They need Mancuso back. Bye arrives at opportune time. If he progresses with that broken index finger (throwing), I think based on Huesman's timeline he could play next game. Nothing guaranteed... UR is better than a 20-7 outcome at home

Villanova moves right down the field to go up 7-0 on JMU early.

PS: JMU has a very polished broadcast, easily the best in the CAA.

JMU misses a chip shot fig. They have imploded in the second half. Hard to root for any team when you hate both of them.
