CAA in the portal:

CofC - Jasper, Epps and King
NU - Walker (probably has undergrad degree)
UNCW - Boggs, Pridgen, Dodd & Tolefree

add any CAA transfers in or out you may see

JMU losing Harvey (10 min/ game) and Taylor, a Wyoming transfer in (only played in 7 games).
Same day they offer to a JUCO ( though Verbal Commits also indicates he is transferring from UT Martin)

If Cam Wynter has a good showing in dance, will not be surprised to see him leave for bigger pastures.

Also will not be surprised to see a bluehen show up in the transfer portal

Earl Timberlake 6’6 wing from Miami is in transfer portal. Dematha kid...avg 9 in his first year at Miami. Maybe with Darrling in NBA, it may bring us in conversations with higher caliber player.

Most likely kid will head to another P5 school plus we are heavy with guards but if by chance, MI has to take this kid.

First time since 2013 that the CAA gets a 16 seed.

The CAA having the highest game cancellation rate couldn’t have helped.

How far this conference has fallen...from two Final 4 teams in 5 years, to a 16 seed. We need to get into the A-10 if they would ever consider having us again. Such a shame how far CAA basketball has fallen. This conference is now weaker than the America East...ugh

It also didn’t help that our conference champion was seeded 6th in the CAA tournament.

Time to bring in Aidan Igiehon, the Irish Hulk, transferring out of Louisville. 6-10, 245. He has live in US since 2014 living in Brooklyn NY. Originally recruited by Oregon, Kentucky, and St. John’s.
No doubt a P5 kid but...😉

Brevin Galloway in portal from Charleston.,,was their best player even though his season was cut short due to injury. Not surprising considering Grant left.

My take on transfers is this:

If the coach is fired or leaves, the player should be allowed to transfer without sitting. If the coach hasn’t left, a player needs to sit a year if they want to transfer.

Right now, it’s crazy. Players will jump around like they do in HS or AAU ball.

I think that’s fair.

Michael Christmas from JMU in the portal.
