My understanding is that the game will be played in Charlotte, but perhaps I am misreading.

The Hens play; Friday - 11:00 am (Fordham)

With a win; Saturday - 5:00 pm (Ohio-Clemson winner)

With a loss; Saturday - 11:00 am (Ohio-Clemson loser)

Win both games; Monday - 7:00 pm (Charlotte Region Championship)

Lose Friday & win Saturday; Monday - 4:00 pm (Charlotte Region Consolation Championship)

All games in Charlotte - All games on FloSports

The Hens get a least two opportunities to get a post-season win, and with at least one win, get to play three games.

The four regional champions meet in Memphis on Fri, Mar 26 and the WNIT Championship is Sun, Mar 28

The WNIT Champion and runner-up will have played 5 games in 10 days.

Learn from the loss against Drexel and make a run and prep for the NCAAs next year.

It's a bit frightening how they can just totally lose their shooting touch. I hope they remember to take it to Charlotte with them.

Very deflating loss and end to a great season. Hope they can crank it back up.

Interesting take...the team lost because of shooting 5 for 32 (16%) from the field in the 2nd half. What should have been done at the half to prepare them to shoot better?

Not assuming the game was in the bag when you were up by nine at the half.

We are about to find out what the character of this team is. Are they going to mope, and not make a maximum effort, or are they going to be focused, and even angry, on a mission to create a positive final result for this season?

I have witnessed the mope effort in certain WNIT appearance in the past, but this, I hope, is a squad that will have a different mind set.

I'll be watching. GO HENS!

At least now we won't have to worry about a potential conflict between the Saturday WNIT game and the football game vs UNH.

Hard for me to believe we'd have a character problem with these ladies. They always come to play.

What they aren't are good shooters. Scorers - yes , Shooters- no . They finished 8th in the CAA in %.

They hustle, play good D and attack everything moving but the overall shooting needs to improve from within or via transfer for next season to assure them a spot in the NCAA tourney.

I like your thinking. Different coaches than the WNIT effort that I have in my head. It's all different now.
