17 games - We beat Navy and these...

I see what you did there. Nice Job! Who did we beat this year? One team that made the tournament?

There's gotta be a lot of change. If I had a son on the team with 2 years left & a starter, I might look for other options, unless in offered a full ride & red shirt next season!
Hengrad07...we beat two teams that made the tournament.

I don't mind criticism (our team earned a lot of it), but c'mon, the facts are the facts.

We beat the mighty Dukes from Duquesne...and we beat the Pards from Laffy (two FCS conference champions, by the way).

HR, what is next to Hampton? Delaware St Hornets? To be fair, Lafayette SHOULD be a week old bagel here instead, hard and tough to down my friend!

Did you see my?.

I didn't consider LC, as I was speaking about the regular season. Next time I will be more specific, but thank you for your Intel! #GoHens 😎

You're welcome.

But, if we had beaten Montana, would you still have limited your comment to only teams we beat in the regular season?

And you had to do it inside a snow globe as well. I hope anyone who attended the game enjoyed their time in Missoula, and that they were treated with nothing but respect.

Continued success at the FBS level. As I stated earlier, I hope we can join you there soon. In the meantime, I'll be rooting for you. Go Hens. Go GRIZ.
I have you guys going all the way in our bracket pool. The Griz are going to be elevated from my 2nd favorite FCS team to my favorite!
Go Griz! Beat the Bunnies!

Now you can complain about the non conference creampuffs, and that can be justified. But be nice to our kids, they don't like losing I'm sure. Don't you think Lafayette or Holy Cross wouldn't have loved to be on that field in Missoula tonight? Hell I remember the good old days too, but it's just a different world these days. How do you think the Georgia, Alabama, Florida St. and Texas fans are sleeping tonight? Cause only two of them are going to go in with Washington and Michigan in the CFP final four. And the two who don't make it are going to think their season is a failure, which is ridiculous but that's where we are today. Now we are going to try and win the Conference USA championship each year and try to be tydy bowl champions. So be it.
This isn't about how those teams got on to the schedule. It's about who they are and the fact that they are the ONLY teams we beat besides Navy (who was 4-8 last year BTW).

My point was: Have we really fallen so low that we are now thumping our chests over victories against Hampton? Campbell? NCA&T? Duquesne? Saint Francis? Morgan State? Delaware State? My God! Stony Brook was 0-10 this year!

Now, here is who we LOST to over that same span:
William & Mary
Elon (x2)
Villanova (x2)
Richmond
Penn State

Our only decent wins over this time span were a 4-8 Navy squad, maybe 6-5 UNH, and 9-3 Lafayette in the playoffs (who absolutely had us on the ropes and would have won if their QB had not gone down OR if they had a capable substitute)

All I'm asking for is that people stop saying, "Wow! 17 Wins over 2 years", and just look a LITTLE bit deeper!

a dose of reality that difficult for some to accept- Jack Nicholson- "You can't handle the truth"
I wish I wasn't in agreement, but the facts are the facts and our eyes view all these games under RC.

If you view our MAJOR SPORTS FB and BBALL, our athletic Department has hired no previous HC to take over our failing/ average programs that need a big change/culture. I have no clue if salary was a factor in these choices. I voiced my concerns about this approach and specifically was the first to suggest that RC might reconsider his choice to handling the OC position. I. along with a few others, petitioned for a 4 man D line and the need to recruit BIGGER solid guys to man that line in addition to more talented OL candidates. The transfer portal was utilized by RC well for skill positions, but not these lines and the results were obvious.
I first mentioned the need to move to FBS which I have lobbied for(MANY Years) and was criticized for. It now is fact- great.
I will always root for our teams, but reality is necessary to be successful which we all want. Now is the time to evaluate who leads this major financial and competitive decision. It needs total attention. I'm not sure that we presently possess the leadership to handle this BIG BOY MOVE. I hope I'm mistaken and the proper moves will be made ASAP. To succeed at the FBS level we need reality checks in every decision. We need to recruit the horses to win- it's that simple, but challenging. Then we need to have a special staff to take it onto the field carefully with realistic goals. Up to now under RC only some of those actions have occurred. I wish I was more positive, but again repetition is the essence of learning.

Let's be proud in the future to be a F***** Blue Hen in the 2024 Football( well???) season. 2025 is when we will see the product on the FBS field. BTW- CUSA is not a P5 or G5 challenge. We should be able to reasonably succeed - fingers crossed
Keep the faith kick butt go Hens
