Respectful and civil discussion of Delaware Football

Greensboro
Downtown Greensboro has cleaned itself up over the past 5-10 years. Been there several times over the past 18 months on business. Several brewpubs have created roots and Elm Street has a cool vibe, and can be quite lively on the weekend with occasional street festivals.
Natty Greens is the cream of the crop with a Logan House/Trolley Square type of vibe. Located on corner of Elm and McGee. Little brothers brewing, Hidden Gate brewing and the Public House should also be fun.
Be sure to stop at the original Woolworths lunch counter (where the 4 A&T students performed their peaceful sit-in, which helped spark the civil rights movement). They have since turned it into a museum. Pretty powerful stuff.
See, this is the stuff that makes this a great site. Local knowledge of things to do, eat/drink and see.
Hopefully, GoHens will gain more fans as we start visiting CUSA venues. There have to be some Delaware Blue Hens fans in those places that just don’t know about GoHens.
When folks travel…preach GoHens.
I hope to get up on October 12th and look for you. I will be wearing my GoHens.net hat.
We have hats? Are there any left for sale?
Looking forward to seeing you on the 12th, 72. Always good conversations with the GoHens crew.
Happy the weather down in Greensboro is looking less wet tomorrow for you travelers. Wind might be a slight problem for our passing attack, but I am sure we can move the ball on the ground as well.

No we don't have hats. I had GoHens.net stiched on a plain hat. Interesting, I met HensRock at a game and he had done the same thing.
Might be a good idea to sell GoHens gear…proceeds go to help manage the site. Would be a fun way to recognize folks who follow GoHens.
I’d purchase one. It would be a game substitute for my Delaware Sailing hat.
Just a thought.
As to the game, happy to hear the wind isn’t going to be as much of a factor. Our offense should be very productive against these guys. If our D-line can hold up, our speed should limit their offense. Play clean and this should be a +17 win.

Massey has Delaware by 17.5
35-17
I’m going 34-6 Hens
recruiting recruiting recruiting...It ain't rocket science....We need better more athletic players...That simple....

I think the Hens cover the 17.5 with room to spare. NCATs defense has 1 sack, 6 QBHs and 6 TFLs through 2 games and hasn't looked very good doing it. O'Connor is going to have a field day. NCATs offense may do okay, but they haven't shown the ability to go deep and their outstanding RB Christian may not play, so maybe not.

Museum and tour was outstanding. Thank you for that tip!

Pat Devlin was filling in this week on the 94.7 radio broadcast. He was really good.
Agree.
Pat was very knowledgeable and told it like it was. His partner did a good of job of setting Devlin up by asking specific questions that were QB/team leader related.
Devlin certainly knows his football. Fun radio broadcast. Football fans housl be happy with that presentation.
