Hens pick up a verbal commit from 6’4 165 SG Mason Ellison from Loyola Bakersfield in Maryland. Bunch of offers. Seems we beat out some nice mid major programs as his official visits were to Liberty, UNCG, Indiana State and Old Dominion.

This is a HUGE get for MI. If you have time, go to his "X" page and check out what he's been doing all summer long. This kid is special.

Re: Mason Ellison Verbal
Ellison dropped 41 the other night with MI in attendance. Two different type of players and I think Ellison may be a bit more ready to begin than Taylor, but excited for both to be Hens.

Looking at Taylors box scores, he seems to be a true forward. Not seeing any 3pts. Just need him to fill out and ideally be around 225 by his soph year.
Would love to get his AAU team and St Andrews C Lloyd, who took a visit early last fall. 6'10 and athletic. Seeing La Salle and Radford as other offers at the time. Guess he is waiting to see if any better offers come along and probably commit this spring.
