How do you guys remember all these UD games, plays, etc? Too many games I've watched in too many sports over too many years to go back to recall much. Sadly, thoughts of UD games recently only bring back nightmares out in the Dakotas and other western venues. I just thought of the game with Eastern Washington when unfortunately we didn't focus and shut down their wr Kaufman who stole that NC from KC- bummer! The more recent debacle occurring at Missoula and a year before that at SDSU-ugh. So I'll look forward hopefully to better dreams next season.

I apologize for negative thoughts since I don't want to take away your Joy. The Joy occurred in the past as I see it from my perspective

Absolutely no need to apologize for your negative thoughts. This board is made for negative and positive opinions.
You are not, in any way, taking away from those of us who continue to revel in the joy of moving out of the FCS/CAA and to FBS/CUSA. The past is our legacy, the future is to create new legacy with great joy.

Joy.

Of course the joy has occurred in the past...EVERYTHING has occurred in the past.

Plenty of joy and heartbreaks to come...that is sports (and life).

Plenty of joy to celebrate recently and in the future. Heck, we are moving up to FBS, we are playing in Colorado and at Wake next year...and hosting UConn.

There's joy everywhere. Joy, joy, joy out the wazoo! Bonus joy: I just learned that wazoo only has one z.

So much joy!

Interesting that Keeler seemed to not downplay the possibility of a Temple-Delaware matchup, joking that he'd like 10% of that gate if it could be arranged! He understands how important that game used to be to football in the DE Valley region.

Taking away Joy? HUH?. Well said Mark. Negative comments don't phase me a bit. All the friends and Family memories I have are ones I'll have forever. Now making new ones with the Grandkids including taking their Shirts off and swinging them in the air to get on TV!! Three of my good friends played OLine for Tubby & Delaware and it made my rooting for us that much more fun. Already planning on a trip to Colorado next AUG!

28 degrees outside with a nice dusting of snow that will be gone by late afternoon- my dog loves it- me too 8)
Looing out to the SE I can see it's snowing heavily out in the foothills of the Appalachians- this just one of my memories that come to mind like a massive snowstorm that closed everything down when we lived in Delaware- My best friend snow skied in from the about 6 miles away unannounced. our 2 young boys and my wife and I had just finished building an igloo in the front yard and here he comes gliding down the street  so cool! JOY forever- made me think of an awesome number-"Joy".

my head's fine- thank you sir-what about yours? Your posts often vacillate in your "joy"/ evaluation of our squad's performance. They praise, then denigrate. That leaves me a bit confused by what's going on inside your head!
To reassure you- my life is good, happy, and joyful. UD sports are just a limited part of the blessings I possess and appreciate. carpe diem

This is what has me worried in a big way. TU has a lot of things going for it and against it vs. UD. Make no mistake: KC will recruit the holy hell out of TU's positive points. That guy could sell ice to Yupiks.

I hoped TU football would continue to go by the wayside, while an emerging UD eclipsed them for space in the Philly region. That's about to be much more of an uphill climb for us with Keeler at the helm at 10th & Diamond.

KC was uncharacteristically emotional in speaking with the sideline reporter after SHSU's win versus Liberty. It's something I'd never seen from him, but it makes perfect sense in retrospect since he was aware at the time that this was to be his last game as Sam's head coach.

different link dealing with KC, but worth the time. saw it yesterday but added it today.

the guy is a prototypic example of a football coach you want to play for. impressive and spot on with his comments. The challenge is what he likes( not to mention the money and proximity to Rehoboth). He was realistic, but challenging the naysayers. I wish we had lured him back-just sayin"

Thanks for the link, tenn hen.

Our man Dan getting in a good question! Great job getting up to Philly for that introduction, Dan.

Aside from the camera person having Parkinson's and a short attention span, that was a fun interview. Keeler always has some fun stories and quips...loved listening to him at the old Huddles meetings. He has a tough job ahead of him; it will be interesting to follow his progress.

From someone close to the situation I was told that he actually inquired about the job, but was told it just wasn't going to happen. When told that, he asked the AD to consider his OC.
