I"ll add another note...we didn't get a shot on goal on a couple possessions...including when having a man up. And, a couple possessions resulted in some questionable (easy) shots.

But, as mentioned, the kids haven't been able to practice outdoors as much due to the weather. Luckily, this Arctic blast is leaving and we'll have some moderating temperatures through the first week of February.

Plenty to learn from this scrimmage. Denver is a solid team, ranked #10 and they really moved the ball around well on their first man-up possession, so I was happy we didn't give them too many of those opportunities. Playing smart, physical lacrosse while avoid penalties will be key to our success.

Also, love the fact that Deluca loves the ride and puts a lot of pressure on teams. At times, we gave Denver headaches. That will help us.

Last note...darned shame we can't host the CAA tourney, but we do have a nice slate of home games. 8 home games. YES!!!!! Only 5 home games last year. Plus, "local" games at College park and Towson.
All I want for Christmas is a 2025 Bowl game for our Hens.
