Sally: Thanks for announcing the schedule on the site. I see that they have added two more games: W&M and Lafayette versus what I found earlier. Regarding FLO, I think that will be a thing of the past. FLO was a media provider for the CAA which sponsored field hockey. CUSA uses ESPN+ but doesn’t sponsor FH. If you intend to subscribe to ESPN+ AND if any of our opponents use +, then you should be able to watch some games.Sally in RI wrote: ↑Wed Jul 30, 2025 10:46 am I don't think the website has been properly updated. The first schedule button I clicked took me to 2024. Then I opened the FH page and then clicked the schedule button and it went to 2025.
I do have concern about TV coverage for women's sports. I enjoyed watching FLO for those and I hope that is not in the past.

Good work by our detectives to get the schedule out before they officially released it.
What a tough schedule the ladies have and heres hoping year 1 is decently successful.

Edit: I checked a few games on our schedule - at the opponents’ websites. Drexel is using FLO for its game with us. Otherwise, hardly any of the opponents seem to be streaming their games. Some are using live stats. Maybe UD can be convinced to stream the home games like they used to do with some sports- “Hens All Access”. This was before FLO. I'm sure students, alumni, team parents and potential recruits would appreciate this. I think it would be vital for future recruiting. effortsdchen wrote: ↑Wed Jul 30, 2025 11:29 amSally: Thanks for announcing the schedule on the site. Where do you see that?
Re: New Field Hockey Coach
An athletic dept staff member for FH told me this as well. Links will be added to the schedule on bluehens.com as the scheduled games arise. This is for home games only.

Re: New Field Hockey Coach
Anyone have any insights on this years team after theTemple game?
Re: New Field Hockey Coach
yeah- but only the loss to Cal 5-4. My first born is a Cal grad. He came up here for the weekend, but we were involved with football and SOP activities, esp Woodford Reserve
Keep the faith kick butt go Hens

First win at Delaware for new coach and freshman goalie gets a shutout. 2-0 over Kent.
