Congrats to a one-of-a-kind Delaware legend!!!

Loved watching her play...and she had great character. A winner's winner.

She was quite arguably the most accomplished athlete ever to attend the University of Delaware. I had the good fortune to referee a number of her basketball games while she was at Ursuline, and throughly enjoyed watching her play at UD during her record-breaking collegiate career. That UNC NCAA tournament game at the Bob was one of the best and most electric Delaware sporting events I’ve ever attended. Congratulations to Elena and the entire Delle Donne family!!!

Does anyone know why she doesn’t stop by at games or anything? Don’t think she’s been to a game in an extremely long time

Know she’s busy but

Yeah, I’m not sure she has a connection to the university much anymore because you never see her at events or they don’t usually do a lot of promotions with her. I’ve never seen her at a basketball game. She still doesn’t live far away. She’s in the DC area as far as I know maybe we just don’t have that connection there which is unfortunate because she could be a very big promotional tool for our program.
