IL Magazine rates Delsware's transfer class as #9
9 Delaware
Aedan Cassidy, A, So. from Holy Cross
Craig Daria, G, Gr. from Sacred Heart
Xander Maxwell, M, Jr. from UMBC
Brendan Burke, D, Jr. from Lafayette
Cooper Metz, D, Jr. from Iona
This Blue Hens class is sneaky; it doesn’t pop with stars, but includes a bunch of guys who will compete for starting spots. On top of that, they got a little bit better in every phase of the field, particularly on the defensive end for a team that ranked 44th in scoring defense. Metz has the takeaway ability after causing 18 turnovers as a freshman. Daria finished 26th in DI in save percentage (52.8%) ahead of plenty of highly touted goalies.

Thanks LILax, I missed that initially.LILax wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2026 1:39 pmI actually did do a quick review of Cole Samburg. He is an unbelievable athlete. My brother got to see this guy play throughout HS and said that he was more than just a FOGO.
"Another interesting recruit comes from Langley HS. Cole Samburg commited early to Vermont before changing his mind to join the Hens next year. He is an excellent FOGO but also incredibly talented defender and scorer at Midfield. Excellent athleticism. Not sure where DeLuca will play Samburg but he is a swiss army knife of players. Not highly rated because of his lack of play against nationally ranked programs. Maybe an under-the-radar steal for the Hens?"

Another mention of incoming freshman Cash Frijters from Canada in Inside lacrosse magazine. He is listed as a top ten player to watch in the Minto Cup (INdoor annual trophy this summer in Canada).
9. Cash Frijters, Raiders Lacrosse Club, Offense
Three Alberta players in the top 10?
Yes — and here’s why.
When a player posts 112 points in 21 games, he earns attention. Cash Frijters is as slippery as they come. His footwork is elite, his change of direction is smooth, and he consistently finds ways into dangerous scoring areas.
He’s also no stranger to the Minto Cup stage. Now he returns as a key offensive driver for the Raiders. If you don’t know his name yet, you will soon.
He has the potential to be another Tye Kurtz (Hens all-time leading scorer) type at attack for the Hens. At worst he will be another Cam Acchione, who was also pretty good.
