Hens have picked up pitcher Andrew Callaway from West Virginia. Went to high school at Delmar. Redshirted this past year, 4 years left.

Hens have also picked up UT/RHP Vince Davis from Manhattan. 3 years left. Was an All MAAC rookie team selection after hitting .268 with 7 HR’s and 32 RBI’s. Didn’t pitch as he’s coming off an injury.

It appeared early in the season that three players were going to play in the prestigious Cape Cod League this summer - Amato, Graeber, and August. None of them are playing there. Amato is back in the Perfect Game CBL, Graeber is playing in the New England CBL, and August has reportedly transferred to VCU and is playing summer ball in Pennsylvania.

Almost the entire roster of Campbell’s baseball team has entered the transfer portal after their head coach left for Ohio State. The number of departures has swelled to 30.

I think it’s more like 22-23 but they think it could get that high. Indiana St, who also has a coaching change the only team with that many.

More good news. DSU transfer and Appo Grad Evan Bouldin has committed. NEC player of the year as only a sophomore this past year. Hit .378 this past year. Also notched a few saves.

Maybe he can convince fellow Appo grad Lorenzo Carrier from Miami to come home after he entered the portal recently

Kulina went back to his Alma mater (and we had no problem filling that vacancy with someone decent) and Torresani probably got a major pay bump in the business world. The sky isn’t always falling you know…
