Carty?
Is Carty ready to take the Hens into CUSA? If so, how many years does he get?
Assuming he received a 5-year deal, when is he extended and for how long? Does CR give RC two years now, or after next year, or wait till after year 1 of CUSA (assuming she is still here)?

Re: Carty?
What’s up with KT’s article mentioning Carty hires an OC? Don’t know if that was his suggestion or something Carty had said.
UD to FBS. I never thought I’d see the day

https://www.delawareonline.com/story/sp ... 715992007/As part of its eventual upward climb, Delaware may also play next season with an offensive coordinator – perhaps one with Blue Hens ties – after head coach Ryan Carty has also been chief play-caller and orchestrator the last two years.

Re: Carty?
Sounds like an OC is going to be hired and they have someone on the shortlist with UD ties. Anyone want to take guesses on who it could be? What coaches are out there with UD ties who specializes in an offense similar to what Carty likes to do? Re: Carty?
That move would make perfect sense. Carty's former team mate, UD Alum, and former WRs coach here during the glory years.

I'd love DiMuzio here

Re: Carty?
I honestly think Delaware needs a new DC too.
Re: Carty?
DiMuzio was the first name I thought of too. They are friends as well. I like what he did with the Lafayette offense.
Re: Carty?
If a new OC is hired, which coach goes? A team can still only have 10 assistants at the FBS level.
Or does an existing coach become a “senior analyst” as most FBS teams have multiple analysts.

Re: Carty?
I would hope moving UP to FBS Football would translate into having an FBS type staff. AN Offensive Coordinator would be a huge asset just from the Time and Transitional requirements I assume Carty will incur as a result of the move not to mention the Transfer Portal activity, Early Signing period and recruiting all taking place at the same time. IF we can find someone that would fit the Program needs, let's pay the guy and get things rolling.

DiMuzio is comfortably still hyping up Lafayette roster additions: https://x.com/coachtjd/status/173184646 ... VHPEJ8igOg

If you're going up to big boy football, then I'd suggest you get some FBS Coaches on your staff.

We had one under Rocco- Bill Cubit. He has retired I believe, but might be a good consultant.Roger_Podacter wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 2:51 pm If you're going up to big boy football, then I'd suggest you get some FBS Coaches on your staff.
