Looks like Coach Rolf hired a new coach from JMU but is from overseas with significant international experience and connections. Five incoming freshman were recruited ( two from the Netherlands) and one transfer. The two prior assistant coaches are no longer listed in the FH bluehens.com website. Linkedin for one had him going into what looks like corporate team building training. No linkedin update on the other - still listed as a UD assistant coach. Also still no word on a new conference. I’m hoping for Bug East.

Like that news. International players...use every pipeline available.

2016 NATIONAL CHAMPS!

Come to think of it...our women have the true national titles (lacrosse, back in 1983)...the ones without subdivisions.

I read somewhere, Jason leaving the associated head coach position. 2nd assistants come & go all the time. There are paid virtually nothing 😱

Besides Field Hockey are there any other programs still waiting to find out which conference they will be joining? Saw that UD Swimming and Diving will be joining the Atlantic Sun conference.

Field Hockey, W's Lax, and W's Rowing have yet to find a conference.

W's Lacrosse to the Atlantic Sun as of 7/1/2025. Will compete in CAA next spring and be eligible for the league championship and post season play.

Stanford and Cal played FH in the America East Conference for the past few seasons but have left to start ACC play for the upcoming season. That leaves AEC with 7 teams so perhaps could be a destination for Delaware in 2025. Among other possibilities: Atlantic 10 has 8 teams and the PL 7. This year Delaware has games against teams in those three conferences as well as the Big 10, the Ivies and the Big East.

Women’s Rowing was announced for the MAC today. That leaves only FH to find a home. FH is our only program that has become a national title contender so it is too bad that the fallout from the CUSA move has impacted in this way

I’m sure you realize that Field Hockey and the other so-called Olympic sports will be competing in the CAA for 2024-25.
Chrissy is working hard to find the appropriate fit for FH for 2025-26. I believe there are some attractive opportunities for Rolf and his crew.

Just hoping for a good landing spot too. By my count, we’ve had to affiliate with 4 conferences to accommodate the non major sports.
