NO ONE has said the schedule isn’t soft. I even called it soft in my post. Just no one is complaining about it because we know what’s to come in the future, and not because you think we roam the halls mingling with the athletic department and singing the fight song on repeat (though I am glad, and I’m sure the department is glad you’re no where near).

You double, and sometimes triple down on nonsense and being miserable, and if people don’t agree with you in being miserable about something, or they disagree with what you post like last week when basically everyone said there’s been no complaints about the schedule, you’re automatically a troll or whatever word you come up with that day. Just relax a bit! And take care.
Like MP Werrell said, Not sure what you're apologizing for. You have tried to be reasonable and always are. You also didn't claim to know who the "real" fans are on here or make statements about knowing how all the BHTDC Members think including being afraid to speak up about something. Ridiculous. If you go to those lunches you see there's no shortage of opinions. Anyway, keep up the good stuff and the great Recruiting work which is much appreciated.

…and you could have ended “this” twelve posts prior. It seems you don’t want others to express their opinions. You do project, the only rancor in this thread originated with you.🤭

Holy schmollly.

We had another clown on here that talked about, “real fans.” Small minded, bitter guy, frustrated know-it-all complaining about everything. What is it with those folks? Maybe we should run one of those Pick-6 plays.

And, to say that a lot of people on here don’t speak their real feelings because they don’t want to lose their standing with the hierarchy…good lord. Sure, maybe one or two folks are involved with associations that present our Hens in a positive manner….but goodness, don’t mistake being polite and professional with cowardice and submission.

Frankly, those accusations sound a lot like projection, stupidity or an inability to understand how a professional should present themselves and their ideas. Or, someone is just a grumpy old guy yelling, “Listen to me!!!” at people and telling them to get off their own lawns.

Our lawns are fine…although we might need to desalinate some of your tears to use for watering.

We are 7-1 and moving to FBS.
That right there, was a fine post.

Some chatter coming out of the ancient 8 Ivies about finally participating in the FCS playoffs but surely there is a Dimwit like Patrick Harker hiding somewhere that will have to be convinced .. the ignorance, prejudices and group think of the educated elite that want no part of the prestigious Ives to be known as “football schools” is ruining some interesting football games

“We’ll see,” McDermott said.

Ultimately, the final decision would be made by the Ivy League presidents — though it would also need the approval of the athletic directors, including McDermott.

“That’s really up to President Garber, so we haven’t had that conversation yet,” McDermott said.

A Peek Into The Future:

Knock, knock.

Ivy League President: Who is it?

McDermott: Uh, it’s me, sir, your AD.

Ivy League President: No.

McDermott: But…

Ivy League President: No.

McDermott: OK, thank you for your time, sir.

From Caribbean Hen:

Reminded me of a long ago story:

The son of long time Harvard FB Coach, Joe Restic, played at Notre Dame. When asked why he didn't
want to play for his father at Harvard he replied that he didn't want to play at a school that was essentially a football factory.

Maybe the Ivies were waiting for UD to leave FCS before they would consider participating in post-season play. Anyone who believes the Ivies don't offer athletic schollies (though they don't call them that) is delusional. What is next Ivy NIL money? Letting grad students with eligibility play Ivy sports? As for Ivy rankings in FCS it is easy to be mistakenly highly regarded by others when you pretty much confine your opponents to Ivies and Patriot members.

Oh Bill… you are the one that’s delusional. I can tell you first hand that the Ivies don’t give athletic scholarships or much aid to athletes. I can tell you this first hand from the past 12-48 months. It might be a little more current than the 30-40 years ago that you base things on…

Penn beat Brown today, at Brown, 38-28. Brown scored a TD with 3 minutes left to make it closer.

Rhody beat Brown, at Rhode Island, 31-21. Brown led Rhody 21-14...and Rhody needed a 4Q comeback to win.

Gosh, it seems as though Penn doesn't give two hoots about Sagrin...they just keep pumping out reality.
