Looks like a nice get for the Hens! Hopefully they can put another 15 or 20 pounds on his frame to help him fill out just a bit. Very athletic big that should definitely help in the post!!!

appears to be a solid get as a wing- not the post! In an video/interview by a Duquesne talking head, he appeared calm, humble, and sharp in his responses.

Another 15 pounds of muscle and he’ll definitely be able to help in the post. 7-footers who can play at all aren’t falling into our lap. We need 6’ 8” , 6’ 9” guys who can defend and rebound.

Now that’s the million $ question…lol. I think there are a couple of things at play. It’s not like he’s never brought in bigs…Goss, Painter, Carr, Mutts, Houser, Moss to name a few. We’ve had some bad luck with transfers and injuries, but I think it goes deeper than that. The type of 4-guard offense he uses relies less on big men and is intended to put more pressure on the perimeter with shooters and spacing. That in itself may be a deterrent to some bigs. And when we do get one, it’s hard to hold on to them in today’s world of NIL and the transfer portal. We are gonna have to figure something out quick, however, because we will get destroyed in the post even worse once we move to the CUSA. Fingers crossed…🤞
