Hard to make a solid prediction, since we never know who's going to play each week. Lol. I think that we should be able to run the ball on the rams, they always seem to play us tough no matter the records. Don't see them much in Newark, so with them and Campbell coming in it will be two teams that we haven't seen in a while, rhody this week and Campbell for the first and probably last time ever at the Tub. I will stick with my pick the score prediction, Hens 28 Rams 24. Let's break my personal damn losing streak this Saturday!!!

3 or 4 -knock on the door! I'm sure our readers and you got the drift, but your research was informative though trivial since Woody will be remembered for many things good(the cloud) and bad(esp. the famous sideline    punch)

If you take Minnesota out of the equation and just look at conference stats, they "arguably" have the best run D. They allow only 92 ypg. They appear (statistically) to be more vulnerable to an air attack. I think the key to our win is going to be completion percentage. If we have another 50% game, we may struggle. They are also tops when it comes to sacks. We may find our QB, whomever that may be, running for their life. RI's opponents have only been successful on 4th downs 33% of the time - RC, please take note.

Their O Line has only given up 5 sacks (again Conference only stats). They rush for an average of 181 ypg.
Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Rhode Island is definitely one of the best teams we will play all year :D

A few notes, observations and predictions

Kasem Hill is finally gone, not sure if that’s a good or bad really. That guy was tough, a little on the porky side but he always got back up after getting racked for 7 years

Their quarterback is a transfer from Virginia Tech

Devin Farrell, a dual threat, he’s ok, he’s not really spectacular. He’s thrown 8 picks and that might be difference when Davis picks him off late.

RB Malik Grant is back. He has 825 yards rushing averaging 5 yards per carry. Delaware fans that watch games will certainly remember him as he’s been around a long time himself. He’s the kind of RB that will lull to sleep and then all the sudden after it looks like hes bottled up, he’ll be going down the side line for a big run. He’s tough and he is from the Bronx so he has no other choice.

On Defense, one guy jumps out almost immediately

#8 AJ Peña
Linebacker and I would take a talent like him in a second for next year because he can play in CUSA and help out our D next year. He’s a Jersey Boy from Montclair so maybe Carty will take note as we know our coach is laser focused on all the exits in the Garden state..

Original prediction was 28-24 Hens but have to reconsider that as the Brookside Kid and one significant other already have that very popular lottery pick.

That’s all I got, and if any of stuff turns out to be wrong, just know I made some quick opinions in five minutes of watching the New Hampshire game. Wanted to watch more but I keep dozing off

Hens play 4 solid Quarters and Delaware wins
recruiting recruiting recruiting...It ain't rocket science....We need better more athletic players...That simple....

I'll admit that I did not look at the defensive stats for rhody before I made my first post, but I just have a gut feeling that Yarns and Silver are going to have a big game together. Not exactly fact based but I've learned to trust my instincts. I did pick 28-24 Caribbean hen, but it's just a shot in the dark my friend, since Asia said we never have much of a clue as who is playing until warmups or the start of the game. Lol. I think the hens can score more than 28, but I played it a little safer this week because these Rams always seem to stay close to us, win or lose it's usually a tight game with them the last 15 years or so. I'll be there in section L cheering our hens on to victory tomorrow. I hope a lot of you gohens posters are there with me!!!
