2025 schedule release

Post by bluehenbillk »

Per Louisiana Tech Twitter the CUSA schedule should be released February 6th, late signing day.
UD to FBS. I never thought I’d see the day

Can’t wait. Been waiting for the schedule release for a long time. Before Keeler left for Temple, I would’ve bet a lot of money the first conference game would’ve been Keeler’s return to Newark. Hopefully FIU is an away game, I wouldn’t mind that game being on the road every single year. And hopefully Delaware will pull off a couple conference wins the first season. Definitely think Sam Houston, Kennesaw State, Missouri State should be very competitive if/when Delaware plays them this season. Teams like Liberty, Jax State, WKU…we’ll see

Thanks for the update, bhbk. Looking forward to seeing the schedule...although, as DPm96 mentioned, there is one game that has lost a bit of luster. A KC Keeler visit to the Tub would have been a sell out, for sure.
All I want for Christmas is a 2025 Bowl game for our Hens.

If Temple were interested in selling some tickets, they'd find a way to arrange a game with the Hens at the Linc at the first available opportunity.

More Hen fans in attendance than Owls is the reason it probably won’t happen. Bad optics not worth increased gate revenue if I’m scheduling for Temple. That said, wouldn’t it be great to see a home-home contract announced.

finally got a moment to check out our board after watching probably the most magnificent womens tennis match ever. if you've never seen consistent power, placement, and touch under pressure, check the replay on the tennis channel or espn2 during the day. 8)
now- excited to view our schedule in Feb. Whatever the order of teams, it will be great to view the vastly improved competition both OOC and CUSA.
yeah- sign a h&h with Temple :D

Temples average attendance was 13,500, Delaware 15,500. KC may generate more interest if he does what he has done everywhere else hes been.

Which match?
My pleasure Section J
the Pole Swiatek v the USA's Keyes. Undoubtedly the best match Madison has ever played. Her coaches have managed to get her to play under control and keep her cool(her pre3vious fatal flaws). The final Sat will be power v power as Keyes faces the wacky Russian Sabalenka.

The men are rocketing along with the Italian and heavy favorite Sinner v the young American Shelton as well as a possible crackerjack battle between the Serbian Djokovic and the German Zverev. all are dynamic players though it's Shelton's first visit to a major semi final so don't expect a classic in that one.

edit- I should qualify my post above on the Keyes match today- I only caught the 3rd set and it was a block buster so no comment on the first two sets!

Not new...but...

2025 CUSA Football Schedule (word is) to be released as early as Wednesday or as late as Thursday of this week.

12 Teams this year. So...three teams you will miss.

Of course--8 games.

Before KC went to Temple, Sam Houston. Now, I don't really care who comes to Newark. Doesn't matter. I'll be there.

clearly the few best and the brightest(well sometimes) coaches and players are often poached. UD has an example with N. Adair who was successful at UD, but not so much Arizona State(8-15-this season, 19-40 last 2 since leaving UD). Oh, KCK is another with SHSU and another national championship for him. I guess he didn't qualify to be our HC :(

as to opponents at home- the good ones, esp Liberty since the crowd size will be indicative of our fan support in CUSA. I wonder if their fans will travel like our fans do in decent #s?
