Unfortunately, on the NCAA website, Ty isn’t listed among the most notable players. It has those names broken down by players on FBS, FCS, DII and other teams, so it was a bummer not seeing Ty or Delaware without having to scroll down to see the full roster.

Hope Ty makes the best of it and gets picked up by an NFL team.
All I want for Christmas is a 2025 Bowl game for our Hens.

Wow! In addition to the INT, he was featured at the start of the 4th quarter with the Way To Play “Moment of the Game” for a big hit on a receiver, dislodging him from the ball. The cameras focused on him on the sideline while the announcers really talked him up for about the next 2 minutes until play resumed. They said he looked good in practice all week, but he also brought it to the game. Really a great tribute to him. Final comment was: “He’s been lights out”.

From article: "Delaware isn't exactly an A-list program and general manager Dan Morgan has made it clear that drafting players from winning schools will be a priority."

I'm putting next to no stock in "Tim Weaver's" "story" on this. The team-specific SI catalogues are not real Sports Illustrated. LOL, what a bizarre way to make the obligatory "FCS program" dig during the draft process about Tyron. Yes, I'm sure the GM is gonna prioritize pulling Eagles-like stops and loading up on Georgia defenders etc. who are safe picks. That's just, as written, a reach to try to find a downside to Herring when the guy knows probably zilch about him.

Faceless Tim Weaver, who has multiple typos in the piece. How many games has UD won in Herring's time? Plus the high count of NFL personnel out of the program. We know this, but it's pretty lazy that Tim doesn't.

CHAT GPT

Can you produce 100 words on the prominence of University of Delaware football?

The University of Delaware football program boasts a rich tradition of success and national recognition. Competing in the NCAA’s Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), the Blue Hens have captured multiple conference titles and a national championship in 2003. Known for their passionate fan base and storied history, Delaware has produced NFL talents such as Joe Flacco and Rich Gannon. The program’s consistency, fueled by strong coaching and a commitment to excellence, keeps it among the top FCS teams. With state-of-the-art facilities and a competitive spirit, Delaware football remains a powerhouse in college football’s second-highest division.

Can you produce 100 words on how bad University of Delaware football is?

Despite a storied history, University of Delaware football has seen its fair share of struggles in recent years. Once a dominant force in the FCS, the Blue Hens have faced inconsistency, coaching changes, and disappointing seasons. Fans, once hopeful for championship runs, now endure frustrating losses and underwhelming performances. While the program has produced NFL talent like Joe Flacco, recent teams have failed to capture the same magic. Poor execution, lackluster recruiting, and stiff competition have made success elusive. While potential remains, Delaware football often leaves fans wondering when—or if—the glory days will return.

That's a fun experiment with ChatGPT. Its only miss, based on how its prompts were worded, might be "lackluster recruiting." I don't think Delaware's recruiting classes -- including in Brock tenure -- were lacking, at least not so much so to be a reason among the ones Chat listed.

Both generated outputs are good examples of the info left out in the original Panthers-related story

My main point in sharing is that you can replace maybe 10 words and both articles can apply to 85-90 percent of the programs in the country.
