I'm on board with keeping the stadium capacity around 20,000, but upgrading the east side seating and adding amenities in the NEZ. Making the east stands the home side with an elevated club level would be a great move.

Just look at Northwestern’s new stadium—its capacity dropped from 47,000 to 35,000, but the more intimate fan experience is a huge upgrade. It looks fantastic. Of course, UD doesn’t have an $800 million donor like Northwestern did, but the model is still worth looking at.

I did for a moment, but then I remembered how much money UD has and how much of that money they invested in me …. Been spinning positive Blue Hen stories over the net for 2 decades for free. :D

Obviously they don’t prioritize football enough and refuse to realize it should be the front porch of the university… let a professor know That the games are on ESPN now and if they want to continue to attract students for them to teach, they need to donate some of their salary to the football program

One thing they can add is good WIFI.
Trying to get data signal on gameday is next to impossible.

At the conclusion of the most recent stadium renovation there was talk of securing donations for the next phase of upgrades. I wonder how that is going. We were discussing a change to the north endzone seating with a new indoor practice facility behind. What has changed? Why no follow up talk? Will our new AD, when named, be as good at fund raising as the one we fired?

I could well be speaking out of turn, but I believe the "Excellence Fund" (NIL) is likely the focus right now.

Watch the latest edition of Feathers & Field Goal interview with our interim (soon to drop that qualifier) AD, where the stadium is discussed.

BTW, our prior AD was not fired, unless you know something that has not been publicly disclosed.

And if we're wondering why students and younger generation do not go to games, this could be a major factor in their decision.

Rawak had resigned to take the USA Swimming job. When that fell through Pres. Assanis made it pretty clear that he was not going to rehire Rawak. So technically Rawak wasn't fired but it was clear that she was no longer welcome.

Why do schools like Penn State, Alabama, Michigan, etc, all get huge student attendance that stay for the entire game?

JAX St. beats (14 Team) SBC runner-up

17-13.

JAX was Without CUSA Player of the YEAR.

I'll say again on this board.

Congratulations to Jacksonville State

Was Troy State really the runner-up in the Sunbelt? I never would’ve known that just by watching the game as I thought they looked kind of Blasé

It makes me think Delaware has a better chance of winning tonight

had a busy day- still - I found myself nodding off with what appeared to me to be a disappointing level of play. note- I don't nap during the day and don't nod off during football games. decided my book would be more entertaining than the game-I believe I made a sound choice from the above posts.

really looking forward to tonight- winning would be great, but our  performance is more important to recruits

go Hens :D

edit- tonight's game may be our best chance in our history to date to play before a national audience without competition. football junkies as well as betters will be tuning in( recruits as well). A dominating effort could pay dividends esp with the upcoming portal and regular signing for hs kids.
we can't blow this shot-RC can gain some kudos if we kick ****!
Keep the faith kick butt go Hens
